Mass Shooting Du Jour

Is this more trans going off at the deep end?
Why would you say something so completely stupid?
Probably because one of the shooters looks a bit androgynous:

And you just go straight to transgender?

No, I think there is an intermediate stage, like being gay maybe 😜
It is like Season Four and onward Family Guy gained sentience and started posting on the Internet.

Oh look! They were right wing extremists.

Why would a 17 & 19 year old be caught up in incel culture? They would not been around long enough I would have thought?

The online activity of such vulnerable children (anyone for that matter) re-inforces my opinion that Australia's attempt at the online ban for <16 years old, whilst by no means perfect, is a necessary step to try to prevent/reduce/stop the baleful affects of the online Cloaca Maxima.

Doesn't sound like leftist LGTBQ terrorists, more life the run of a mill white christian nationalists.
Why did you attach the epithet 'Christian'? The article in post 23 did not mention Christian once. Knee-jerk reaction perhaps?
The 2nd link in your post unfortunately is broken for me.

See the bold-faced material in the quote. Antisemitism, anti- Islamism and anti-LGTBQ sounds like “christian” extremism to me.

Sounds like run of the mill extremism to me. But I can understanding why you would use 'Christian' as a shorthand for all of those. Keeps all prejudices simple. Not nuanced, but simple and saves typing too.

They said "white Christian nationalists" which is a known form of extremism, and it crops up like in cases such as the assassination of Melissa Hortman, the assassin having fairly similar views to these perpetrators. Nowhere did they say all Christians are white Christian nationalists, and I'm sure they don't believe that, so I'm not sure what the problem with their comment is, unless you're going to claim being a Christian makes someone a good person, which is ridiculous.

Probably a white Christian nationalist. But it’s a fair point that Christianists, Islamists, Hindu Natiinalists, and secular right wing cunts are pretty much all the same.

I will grant that all extremists are ultimately the same in terms of their goals of desiring to kill innocents. But they are not all ultimately as likely to be the perpetrator(s).

You seem to be suffering from some misunderstanding that the terms Christian and Christian Nationalist are equivalent. We understand the usage of the two terms meaning quite different things. Christians are a broad population, Christian Nationalists are a subset of that population.

Christian Nationalists are a thing in the US and unfortunately have direct connections with the White House. Not Trump, he is too much of a narcissist to be a Christian or a Christian Nationalist, but others in his command, like Stephan Miller and former Steve Bannon.

I guess I am not as familiar with “run of the mill” extremists as you are. Someone who hates Jews, Islamists and the LGTBQ community in my part of the world without mentioning Christians, is likely a self- proclaimed Christian”. There was nuance you missed- christian was in quotes indicating self-proclaimed not necessarily recognizable as one.

Why do you call them "white" when neither one of them was white?
They said "white Christian nationalists" which is a known form of extremism,
We do not know whether the shooters were Christian or not, but we do know for sure that they were not white.
Why do leftists love to attach the epithet "white" to anything negative?

First, I didn't call them white. I said they sounded like the run of a mill white christian nationalists.
Second, Cain Clark's mom is white.
Third, Caleb Vasquez is Hispanic which may be classified as white or nonwhite.

So, it seems to me that the only way one can definitely declare that neither one was white is to have the strident racist view that being white requires no other race in one's ancestry.

Both of these terrorists certainly resembled white supremacist assholes:
The graphic video, which CNN reviewed, appears to capture the attackers firing weapons from inside the mosque while displaying Nazi and White supremacist imagery on their weapons and clothing. Another portion of the video appears to show one gunman shooting the other inside a car and then shooting himself.

Why does it bother you so much to have the truth about your brethren?

First, I didn't call them white. I said they sounded like the run of a mill white christian nationalists.
I.e. you called them white, among other adjectives.
Second, Cain Clark's mom is white.
Would that also make, say, Barack Obama white?
Third, Caleb Vasquez is Hispanic which may be classified as white or nonwhite.
I guess Hispanics are "white" when they do something bad, but are POCs otherwise?

What I would like is there to be some consistency. It is normally left who assigns people like Clark and Vasquez POC status and progressive stack privileges that go with that, except apparently when they shoot up a mosque. Then they suddenly become lilly-white.
Both of these terrorists certainly resembled white supremacist assholes:
Again, the addition of "white" here exists only to denigrate white people. A common lefist affliction where white is being equated with oppressors and "people of color" with the oppressed.
Why does it bother you so much to have the truth about your brethren?
Why do you think they are my brethren any more than they are yours?

Logic fail.

You’re the one obsessed with race, not me.

“Lily-white”? No one said that. But look at your racial purity language.

No, its there to distinguish them from other types of racist assholes.

True, we’re both white. But according to you, I’m a leftist and they aren’t.
