Can you imagine? Getting kicked out of a bar, shoved, and yelled at just for being a fascist? That's so unfair! Won't someone do something about the persecution and oppression of fascists alt-right free speech advocates identitarians?

After some looking into, I've decided to change my mind about Milo. While never liking the guy, I did defend him, not only here but on another board. My defense consisted of simply trying to explain that, while he was apparently an asshole, and a creep, he was not a fascist.

I tried and I tried, looking for articles written by him, not just about him. And I watched several interviews and videos, listening to him as he went about explaining his views.

I always assume someone is telling the truth until and unless I have good reason to suspect them of lying. In most of his talk he sounded to me like a typical libertarian, but one with a patently reckless, egotistical, and purposefully self-destructive candor. He wanted to be viewed as a brilliant but dangerous rake, and he succeeded in spades.

I decided to just assume that he dissembles and puts on a show, rather than being a forthright human being. Considering what he's done to himself, he's got no reason whatsoever to complain about being tossed out of a bar.

As to whether he's a fascist or not: perhaps he is, but lacks the courage to admit it.

Considering the above, while it doesn't absolve him of his behavior, it certainly does a great deal to explain it.

Has anyone about read any of those great 19C novels by Henry James, George Eliot (Mary Ann Evans), etc? It looks to me like Milo was brought up in a Henry Jamesian nightmare. A tyrannical father, abusive stepfather, all the works.

Fuck high society. I'm glad I was raised in a trailer park. Sure, the same kind of evil things happened, but at least the kids could run out and play, raise hell, get dirty, catch frogs, while trying to absorb and deal with the trauma dealt to them by their parents or siblings. It looks to me like the children of the haughty-taughties had, and have, far less liberty, and there's all that nonsense about behaving according to one's class.

I think his problem is he's a troll. People often don't know what really is in a troll's head. Is he a fascist sympathizer and pro-pedophilia for realz? I don't think it matters because he's trolling. He even took part in scams to pretend his rights were being violated after trolling, i.e. double trolling. We had a thread a while back about SJW. There are pretty much two definitions. The one I refer to is the person who uses social justice issues to promote themselves, with no care about social justice issues. It is a mocking type of label.
