More about Europe not being serious about the threat of Islamists

Snopes really blew it on that one!!!

Look more carefully at their crap: They're basically taking the word of the French government that the French government isn't covering something up.

What motivation does the French Government for covering up what would be obvious torture that easily verifiable?

It's easier to sweep the problem under the rug than to confront the reality.

So it is easier to systematically suppress all physical evidence of what would be horrific acts, than it is to announce them?

No--as we have seen, the sweeping doesn't work. Look at all the reports of sex crimes that keep coming to light.

I have no idea what you are referring to. Can you talk in specifics?

I don't understand. Europe has had experience with how to contain threats from undesirables with funny languages and weird religion. I mean, some of those camps are now museums, and tha Nazis left very detailed records...

Yeah, their strategy has been to ignore them so long as they didn't do their dirty deeds locally. That strategy is coming home to roost.
OMFG Loren. I didn't actually think you were a Nazi sympathizer.

What a dilemma - who is more credible Snopes or Loren Pechtel?

Just look at the Snopes article--their source to rebut it is the French government.
You are not addressing the question. Why should anyone take your view on this matter seriously given your obvious biases and long history of mischaracterization?

You're the one who tried to bring the Nazis into this. I was talking about how Europe addresses terrorism. This has been going on a long time--and when the heat did close in they tipped the bad guys off to leave rather than have to deal with arresting them. (This is why Israel resorted to assassination--they knew an extradition request wouldn't work.)

You keep trying to derail things so much you've forgotten the situation.

Check out the OP!

You are being evasive. I repeat " Why should anyone take your view on this matter seriously given your obvious biases and long history of mischaracterization?"

Loren, you very much seem to support policies that are quite similar to the social welfare policies of the Nazis. Certainly the impulses seem very similar.

The American right spends most of its time beating its hollow chest and denouncing things it doesn't understand - while claiming Christianity, a religion the wisely suggests you deal with your own faults, which ARE under you control.

No, you are the one who needs to read more carefully. What Snopes is saying is that the French government didn't cover anything up because they are the source of the information that the original article used:

Snopes said:
Both outlets single-sourced their claims from a 15 July 2016 article published by the HeatStreet web site...

The portion in question originated via an inquiry published (not suppressed) by the French government, based on 21 March 2016 testimony in which investigators were asked about rumors of torture or propaganda creation at the Bataclan.
