Muslims Take American City -- It has Begun!!

help me understand... you are (pretty much) all saying that there should be a religious test for office, right?
I can't seem to glean any other message out of what ya'll are saying.
I merely express my doubts about having muslim majority towns.

How can you have any doubts? It says they exist right there in the OP.

Dearborn, Michigan is also gone. Minneapolis is gone. America has cancer.

I beg to differ. Minneapolis is still here, and it's only gotten nicer over the last few years. Part of that is that the Islamic immigrants and community here is just a lot nicer and more considerate than the other ethnic groups in town.

ok.. I guess... just as long as there aren't any fucking dirty, no good, Atheists in office, right? right? hello?

I don't have problem with atheists, it's muslims I am afraid have problem with us.

Being afraid is rarely a wise alternative to being informed. Perhaps you could try finding out whether Muslims, as a class, have a problem with you, before using your fear to back your decision making?

You might be surprised to find that Muslims who have a problem with you are neither more common, nor more fanatical, than Christians who have a problem with you; Jews who have a problem with you; white supremacists who have a problem with you; anti-government loonies who have a problem with you; or a whole bunch of other groups that spawn occasional terrorist nut cases.

The only thing you have to fear is fear itself.

...The only thing you have to fear is fear itself.

I dropped in on this thread to find the usual oblivious progressive delusion and denial. How is that the OP overlook the obvious story:

Last week, I reported about the first American city in history to elect a Muslim majority City Council. Well it didn’t take long for the aggression and hostility to surface — did it? It never does. Always conflict and strife.

A cell phone video surfaced of one of the organizers declaring, “Today we show the Polish and everybody else……” The town has a large but shrinking Polish community.

Ugly.

They won — are they incapable of being gracious? Don’t answer that. The message is clear. Non-Muslims move or else.

HAMTRAMCK, Mich. - History in Hamtramck as voters elected the first majority Muslim city council in the country.

But rather than ease racial tensions, the comments from a Muslim organizer threaten to divide.

It was a historic moment Tuesday, but followed by a controversial comment that may create or widen the rift between the growing Muslim and shrinking Polish community in Hamtramck.

"Today we show the Polish and everybody else," said Ibrahim Algahim in cell phone video.

The comments touched a nerve.

It came after Hamtramck voters elected America's first Muslim majority city council in a town where the Polish community held the power for decades. ...

Didn't take long for the Muslim driven poison to emerge, did it?

It's clearly more difficult for me to take offense at an incomplete sentence than you. Perhaps if he was allowed to finish his sentence we might be able to condemn him together. Because I can think of lots of inoffensive ways that that sentence could have ended.

Maybe the sentence would have ended... "Today we show the polish and everyone else, that we aren't the depraved menace they were depicting us to be during the campaign."
Or.
"Today we show the polish and everyone else how to make a delightful vegetarian hummus.'

It is typical of the prejudiced and xenophobic to jump to conclusions when presented with a fraction of the pertinant information.

Gosh. One person said something offensive. Possibly the first time that's ever happened in the history of US politics.

Your response is far more offensive than his offensive comment. And far more divisive.

And seriously; If Pamela Geller is on your side, you are on the wrong side.

Well I guess there's only one thing left for me to do.

As an American of Polish descent, and someone who grew up in the Detroit area, I'm going to have to turn my annual trip home for the holidays into a chance to run the gauntlet.

It will be dangerous, no doubt, but I'll risk beheading and all the depraved tortures of Sharia Law...and I'll...go to Hamtramck. And Dearborn. Maybe even Harper Woods.

Of course they'll see me coming. The Arabs. The Lebanese. The Pollack-hating Muslim hordes. But what else can I do? I can't let them take my hometown away from the otherwise ethnically diverse and generally tolerant people who have populated these suburbs for decades.

I'd say "wish me luck," but clearly that's not in order. Six weeks from now I'll be dead...probably beheaded by a savage Muslim grocer or store clerk in Livonia or St. Clair Shores.

Don't weep for me...I've had a good life.

Broadbrusher#1 (from Hamtramck): "Get the Muslim out of Hamtramck Nov. 3 and let's take back our city."

Broadbrusher#2 (from Hamtramck in response): "Today we show the Polish and everybody else"

Broadbrusher#3 (from the Internets in response): "Didn't take long for the Muslim driven poison to emerge, did it?"

Cool, go and make these two Bangladeshi atheists informed. Wait, you can't, they are dead, murdered by muslim mob,.... for being atheists.

Broadbrusher#2 (from Hamtramck in response): "Today we show the Polish and everybody else"

Broadbrusher#3 (from the Internets in response): "Didn't take long for the Muslim driven poison to emerge, did it?"

With the qualification that Broadbrusher#2 actually said "Today we show the Polish and everybody else that we can be united", which already sounds much less threatening than the incomplete quote mine.

And with the further qualification that the other people present, from the same camp apparently, visibly disapprove of his words even so.

Wow! Talk about full-blown character assassination. If it were me, I'd be contacting a lawyer and taking Geller and her minions down numerous pegs.

The outright dishonesty and callous disregard for truth amongst many right-wingers (Geller, Breitbart, etc.) makes Hillary look like a rank amateur.

All too true.

while we are barring Muslims from holding political office in the US, lets slide all the way down that slope and keep the Jews, niggers, and fags out of office too! Right?

You sound like a bunch of evangelicals wanting religious liberty for all (that have brought Jesus Christ into their hearts).

Well, not just anyone who's brought Jesus Christ into their hearts. That could include Catholics and those weirdo sects of Christianity who think that Jesus would be OK with the fags. It's only the right kind of Christians who wouldn't require some kind of religious test for office.
