Pelosi: Impeachment Is Moving Forward

If the Democrats had articles of impeachment for every act Trump is guilty of, there would literally be hundreds of articles. Idiots like Hannity, Shapiro, Rightwing Halfwits etc would all be exlaiming, "Look! witch hunt! Democrats are so desperate they'll impeach Trump for anything!". Unfortunately, around 60% of the US population would believe them, given their susceptible nature. With things as they are now, only around a third of the country believes that.

In a nation where a significant size of the population believes the last President was a secret gay Kenyan muslim atheist intent on bringing about sharia law, 9/11 was an inside job, Hillary Clinton headed a pedophile ring disguised as pizza stores after hiring an assassin named Benjamin Ghazi to kill four Americans in Libya and Democrats love Iran more than the US, you have to dole out facts in small portions. Otherwise the recipient will just throw them back up. Right wingers prefer fantasy over reality so it's a process for them to accept facts.

It's SO incredibly depressing to realize all of that is absolutely true. TENS OF MILLIONS believe all that shit.

Bill Hicks was right. We're a virus with shoes.

I don't know about the virus part but yes, it is real and it is depressing.

In 1941 there was one "No" vote when Roosevelt asked for a Declaration of war against Japan following Pearl Harbor. The person thought it was a hoax because they didn't trust Roosevelt. Today that's half the voting population of the U.S.

Critical thinking and the ability to make rational observations are not common skills in the U.S. There is definitely something different about our brains.

It's beyond depressing. It's insane. I was just watching a clip from Trump's last rally. He was screaming that he was going to make sure that we have dishwashers that use a lot more water because people are using 5-6-7-8-9-10 cycles to get their dishes clean. WTF! The crowd went wild with applause. I guess whatever nonsense comes out of this man's mouth will be considered true and valuable by at least a great many of his supporters. I've never seen anything like this in my life. It really does look like a scene from the movie, "Idiocracy". You can't make this shit up.

But, at least it looks like there will be witnesses at the impeachment trial if the 4 or 5 Republicans who say they want witnesses don't go back to being cowards. And, of course, Trump will likely try to block them, and insist that all the Dems who he. hates should testify as well.

There are hundreds of things he should be impeached for.

And yet they aren't. He's done some pretty incredibly and obviously illegal things he could be impeached for, but the Democrats refuse(d) to. The Democrats only try to impeach him for this one particular thing. Why do you think that is?

If the Democrats had articles of impeachment for every act Trump is guilty of, there would literally be hundreds of articles.
Pelosi went with the Ukrainian deal because it should be a slam dunk. We have an edited (by Trump Admin) transcript to implicates him in the abuse of power. We shouldn't have to have witnesses at all. He was caught red handed! However, the GOP apparently have absolutely no shame.

... It really does look like a scene from the movie, "Idiocracy". You can't make this shit up.

Yes. The other night I was listening to pundits on the news. Guess what they were saying. The Democrats do not appeal to people because they are too high brow and so successful Democrats need to talk at people's level without using big words. Being educated is, you know, offensive to the working class because it comes across as elitist. A good politician is a person you can feel like you can drink a beer with... and get drunk?

And yet I was told that Donald Trump would make a good President because he was such a rich, successful businessman. Why isn't that elitist?

That was the allure to W.

Intel Committee Releases Handwritten Note On Trump’s Ukraine Plans

The House panel got a “trove of documents” from Lev Parnas, an associate of Rudy Giuliani, showing Trump’s efforts to gain Ukraine’s help with the election.

As seen in the documents obtained by lawmakers, Parnas received messages from Republican Robert F. Hyde in March 2019 with details on Yovanovitch’s location in Ukraine from people who were apparently spying on the diplomat in Kyiv. Hyde is a Connecticut congressional candidate, The Daily Beast confirmed with Parnas’s lawyer.

“Wow. Can’t believe Trumo [sic] hasn’t fired this bitch. I’ll get right in that,” Hyde wrote to Parnas before sending him a series of updates on her location and movements.

“They are willing to help if we/you would like a price,” Hyde said in another message. “Guess you can do anything in the Ukraine with money... what I was told.”

These guys are rats. They keep everything as insurance down the road. Hyde sounds like a Lethal Weapon Joe Pesci character... wanting in and Parnas was ignoring him. But it seemed quite insane that Hyde was allegedly tracking a US Ambassador. My question is, how did he even get wrapped into this to begin with?

These docs, Hyde aside, are damning. This isn't sideshow evidence. This disproves the defense and proves the prosecution. And it won't be enough.

Trump could confess... and the GOP would say "It doesn't rise to the level of removal from office."

Nancy Pelosi has named 7 impeachment managers:
  • Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) - the lead manager
  • Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY)
  • Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA)
  • Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY)
  • Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO)
  • Rep. Val Demings (D-FL)
  • Rep. Sylvia Garcia (D-TX)

Would be a good idea to put that Republican who turned independent in some kind of role, if not a prosecutor. Then it is less partisan(-looking).

[AM Radio Bloviater]And now we see the reason why Rep. Amash was a turncoat. He was promised a prominent position in this embarrassment of an Impeachment trial. Some people have no shame...[/AM Radio Bloviater]

Don't know if Amash has the skills, but if he does, they should have included him. Like they should have had a conservative law professor on that one panel too.

If there was any pretense to an actual trial, that would be appropriate and maybe effective.
As it is, there will be little more than a parade of republitard senators chanting "witch hunt".
The only good to come of this will be a fleeting image of republicans showing the nakedness of their corruption.

The complete Parnas documents are here.

Malcolm Nance commenting on those documents said:
URGENT: I spent decades intercepting foreign communications & I can assure you the comment about “you can do anything for money” was a shadow remark of a previous conversation where her (Ambassador Yovanovitch) assassination was likely discussed & lol considered by Robert Hyde & the Private Contractors.

At least have him do the required prayer opening.

I've noticed that American jounalists call mercenaries "contractors." So, just wondering....were the contractors BlackWater? They also do "security." So does Ghouliani.

I'm curious, do you just need to be a donor to be allowed to communicate with black shadow goons, or is there some sort of minimum donation level?

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.
According to an article I read, he $2,000 to Trump's re-election campaign. Just $2,000... and that gets you goon access?! Heck, this is him with the entire party of goons!

*writes a check*
