Protesters Interrupt Trump-Inspired 'Julius Caesar' Theater Production

Now, now, i'm asking how he connects an ongoing play's production to Kathy Griffin's actions and why it's suddenly in poor taste for that specific connection.
Was not talking about what you're trying to shoehorn into the post you're pretending to respond to.

These protestors are applying the left's standards to the left to illustrate the hypocrisy of the left.
HAHAHA! Yeah, good one.

They are, actually, and Trumpites (Trumpsters, Trumpets?) in a lot of ways are inspired by the Left. There was a very interesting interview with the current Brietbart editor-in-chief n Bill Maher last weekend where he explicitly stated that he, having gone to Berkely, draws inspiration from the Left:

"I think that a lot of our inspiration at Breitbart has been following Democrats and people on the left over the years. I'm from Los Angeles, I went to Berkeley, I witness, I live in Washington, D.C., and watching the Left fight effectively, fight tooth and nail for their values, that's what Breitbart was founded on. Those principals that we believe what we believe so we're going to fight for them with all we have."

HAHAHA! Yeah, good one.

They are, actually,
Because everyone on the left has the same standards, and we all said the same thing and supported the same actions.

dismal seems to be trying to say it's unfair to distinguish between left and right on this, but lumping the entire left together isn't any better or less bigoted.

I think this is very insulting...to Julius Caesar

Two protesters interrupted a controversial production of Julius Caesar on Friday, which features a Trump-like character in the role of Caesar, currently being put on by New York's Public Theater.

"Stop the normalization of political violence against the right! This is unacceptable," one protester yelled as she walked toward the stage, according to video she posted to Periscope. Security was called as the second protester yelled at the crowd, calling them "Nazis" and accusing members of the crowd of being like Joseph Goebbels.

The play, which runs through Sunday at Central Park's Delacorte Theatre, tells the story of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar but with contemporary costumes and its main character, played by Gregg Henry, sporting yellow hair, a Trump-style suit and long red tie. This version of the play, directed by the Public Theater's artistic director Oskar Eustis, also includes the character's assassination but this time it's the Trump figure who dies.

"Shame on Kathy Griffin and shame on all of you for promoting political violence against Donald Trump," she was heard yelling as she was led away. The two protesters posted their own videos of the event live online, and viewers in the audience captured the incident as well.
Another rightwing snowflake melting down because of a lack of safe space.

So, just for the record, now and for evermore the left does not believe that speech like this creates a "climate of hate" that results in people getting shot. Because I have vague recollections they used to say batshit crazy shit like that.

I'd be happy if dismal would just practice what he preached and shut the fuck up about it.

This shit never ceases to be entertaining.

Clinton era GOP: "The President is a scumbag! Chelsea is a dog!"

Bush era GOP: "How dare the Dixie Chicks criticize the President of the United States!"

Obama era GOP: "He's a Kenyan Muslim Socialist! Hang him in effigy!"

Trump era GOP: "How dare the left criticize the President!"

I don't see the argument.

The US is a democracy and it may not be politically correct. So those with Butt-hurt should take the soothing ointment to try and get over it

The alt-right has long been campaigning for the abolition of political correctness. Now they seem to be all for it - but only for others.
Fucking hypocritical morons.
Well, they think they are politically correct so they want others to be subjected to their political correctness.

It is a shame that political violence is encouraged in such a sick way.
Cathy Griffiths adopted an Al Qaeda pose with a severed head then spoke like a victim when forced to apologise.
Now we have another encouragement of violence.
Madonna dreamed of blowing up the White House.

The US is a democracy and it may not be politically correct. So those with Butt-hurt should take the soothing ointment to try and get over it

The fact you can't even correctly spell the name of some one who is directly mentioned in what you quoted kinda shows how much credibility and integrity you are bringing into this discussion.

What a limp bratwurst statement. Spelling a name wrongly doesn't detract from the fact she did it.

Complaining about others pointing out your infantile error doesn't detract from the fact that this thread is not about Kathy Griffin, but rather about the play performance that has so rattled the alt-right snowflakes (who were not bothered in the least when Caesar resembled Obama!).
But go ahead - keep on pretending that Kathy Griffin gives excuse to your alt-right buddies who liked to burn the former president in effigy, hang him in effigy, call for his internment and/or assassination...
Makes you look almost as good as the company you keep. Fucking hypocrites.

Laura Loomer (the screaming protestor) has just been BTFO about claiming on twitter that her tires slashed when in fact it was just from dry rot.

This may be deleted soon out of embarrassment. Scroll down for some good laughs.

Really out there. Measure twice cut once, Laura.

Now she is getting memed on, feels good man.

The play itself may have had some malice but was really symbolic more than anything else. Also Caesar was assassinated by his own colleagues, something which is normally done in a political sense.

I think protesting against it, is free advertising and will draw more people

Kathy however (whether she realised it or not) was mimicking ISIS members who hold up the heads of their victims. She is clearly guilty of asininity but with no evidence she intended to carry out such an act or was involved in the same. Her speaking in a victim mode on TV didn't diminish the stupidity of her actions.
