Racism in Baltimore - a pictorial

The left is a spectrum.

It is not one thing.

To talk about it as if it were one thing is to talk like a fool.

The same goes for the right.

Of course it is a spectrum. The difference though is that the mainstream Left is not shunning their radicals but is rewarding them with cushy university professorships.

Again you simply talk about the left as if it were one thing.

There is no such thing as "the mainstream Left".

The left is extremely diverse. It believes in having an open mind.

It also believes that people can change and when they do it is fine to give them difficult professorships. Again only a fool who has never done it thinks it is "cushy".

Yes, because the nefarious and ambiguous left appoints all professors and professors have cushy jobs. (Other than the two we fired this morning, not for their obvious incompetence, but for their not being a violent radical.)

No I am not. I am differentiating mainstream Left (i.e. so-called "modern liberals) from "progressives", socialists, communists.

There is no such thing as "the mainstream Left".
Of course there is. For example Obama and congressional and state Democrats are mostly in that category.

As long as people agree with the left-wing position.
It also believes that people can change
Except that Angela Davis never changed but has remained a radical (she was member of the Communist Party until 1991 when she joined a socialist party with a long name). Here she is grinning it up with the East German communist dictator Erich Honecker.

Real professorships, like say science or engineering or medicine are difficult. Professorships of ethnic or women's studies and similar only exist to give radicals a sinecure.

You jest, but why is it that left wing radicals, including convicted terrorists like Boudin, get professorships at prestigious universities that would not touch right wing radicals with a 10 meter pole?

Also, why is the racist and sexist Saida Grundy is still employed by BU?

No I do not jest. You have uncovered our plot to put all these unknown leftist radicals in places of power from Dick Cheney to Charles Manson and it is all the handiwork of our leader Al Sharpton.

as opposed to the mainstream right, who is not shunning their radicals but is rewarding them with cushy FOX News pundit positions.

OH MY GOD THE DIFFERENCES!

OH MY GOD THE DIFFERENCES!

1. University professorships have more prestige than cable news pundits. They should thus also be subject to a higher standard.
But even besides the false equivalence your response is ridiculous because
2. Can you name me one Fox News pundit who procured weapons for a courthouse hostage taking plot? Or built bombs and participated in an armored car robbery which resulted in the murder of two police officers and a guard?
Only one. Shouldn't be too difficult, right? I mean, why else use caps unless you are confident you can deliver, right?

1. University professorships have more prestige than cable news pundits.
clearly, because if there's one thing in this country that is an absolute concrete fact it's that people care way more about college professorships than they do about TV celebrities.
you sir have definitely got your finger on the pulse of this nation.

2. Can you name me one Fox News pundit who procured weapons for a courthouse hostage taking plot?
no but i can name a fox news pundit who procured weapons for an embassy hostage taking plot - ever heard of a guy named oliver north?

Or built bombs and participated in an armored car robbery which resulted in the murder of two police officer and a guard?
i have absolutely no idea what you're talking about here, but i don't spend even an infinitesimal fraction of my life as you do obsessing over every possible example of moral outrage i can find in the world, so clearly i'm an inferior mind for not having a ready set of talking points. point to you.
