It most likely is, but I fail to see a link to Trump. Not everything in the world is about Trump you know.

What exactly has rump supposedly said or done that would encourage somebody to assault a small child? Be specific.
 
honestly i think you have it backwards - i think the people who approve of this sort of behavior is what made trump possible.

we're in a massive cultural downswing right now, the general zeitgeist of the US has swung markedly conservative in the last 15 years or so and i think what we're seeing right now is the collective backlash of all the bigots who haven't been able to cope with the idea of blacks and women being considered real people.
there's this massive teeming underbelly in the US of people who remember when blacks and women were "less than", who remember a time when they weren't officially human beings, and they simply can't get over the changes in society.
i also think that generally speaking the forces of change that moved us past that point in our history in the first place have this attitude of "we already won that fight, we don't need to pay attention to it anymore" and thus it's been allowed to fester and grow and now we're just seeing the infection start to break through the surface and begin oozing.

What in that statement encourages anybody to pee on 5 year-olds? Especially when those 5 year-olds are not even illegal?

And more generally, what do you find wrong with that statement? Illegals are often exploiting loopholes in our immigration laws and system, including illegals under 18 travelling without adults, aka "unaccompanied minors".

Exactly. Trump's embrace of bigotry, racist dog whistle, the alt-right and his equivocation about white supremacists, embolded racists and bigots to think that their feelings and behavior are acceptable.

It is hard for me to imagine that a sober rational person would deliberately urinate on anyone else, let alone a child. I wonder if this guy was chemically altered or if he has diagnosed mental issues - not that there is any excuse for his behavior.

I am also surprised by the lack of posts decrying the violent and potentially deadly assault on this little girl.
 
Obviously an intellectual giant. He gets arrested. And he will have to explain this for the rest of his days. "Why I was arrested." He will end up on the national sex offender registry and won't be able to legally own weapons again. And may well serve a few years in prison. Locked up in the segregation wing to keep him from being shanked by some fellow prisoner for his sordid criminal act. Goodbye Bozo!

Ya, the silence from the leadership of the white supremacist movement about how he doesn't represent them and how theirs is a philosophy of peace is quite striking. It's very fishy how they're not speaking up.

first example that comes to mind: Trump supporters assaulted a homeless Hispanic man.
Trump did not say that these people did not represent him, or that they misrepresented his views.
Trump did not say this was wrong to do.
Trump did not say that such things were unamerican.

No. FFvC said proudly that his fans were 'passionate people.'

Can't imagine how anyone would think of this as an endorsement for racism.

His whiplash response to Charlottesville, with obvious differences between what he was told to say, and what he honestly felt, reinforce the message.

There article says he is schizophrenic and a sex offender:

He has a mental health history and was previously diagnosed with schizophrenia.

The man is listed as "non-compliant" with requirements of the state's Sex Offender Registry. He had a 1981 conviction for attempted second-degree criminal-sexual conduct and a 1997 conviction for second-degree criminal-sexual conduct involving a child under 13, records said.

So very recently, Republicans all demanded that we judge all legal immigrants because one legal immigrant murdered one person.

Following the logic of Republican voters, we should therefore judge all white people by what this guy did.
