This is something that has been put out in response to what is/has happened in Sydney today.

how to be helpful on social media today

I am very happy that this has sort of advice has come out today. Don't get me wrong, I am worried about what is happening in Sydney, but will not post prayers, thoughts, or any speculation on the event, because I don't want to inflame the situation.

I would rather watch the news feeds and keep up to date that way.

I am fully aware of this; Google's servers often get Australian news dates wrong, as some parts of their software handles the international date line better than others.

But it is terrific conspiracy fodder.

A FB friend of mine who is a really big conspiracy theorist has already shared it to her network of friends. It will be all over the world within a week
