I have no idea if she's "qualified" or not as I don't really know her position or her plan of action on anything. That said, I think she's intelligent, tenacious, compassionate, well spoken and driven. All qualities that I believe are GOOD in a potential candidate, not bad. Now, if she entered the race and she campaigned that Dr. Oz should lead the FDA......I would be out.

Wasn't she a shock talk show host for a while? Then for a week she became high class stuff interviewing people like Eli Wiesel, and then she went back to shock talk... and then at some point, went legitimate... maybe once she was a bazillionaire and could do whatever the heck she wanted. The fact is, she is the most successful of her kind... as in talk show hosts. She is a bloody billionaire! Sally Jesse, Geraldo Rivera, Donahue, or even Dick Deitrick (I had no idea that was on for four years?!) didn't reach the peak she did.

No. A lot of people on the Forbes list got there by doing something better than it was being done before. If everyone you deal with is better off than they would have been had you not done what you did it's pretty hard for there to be foot-grinding.

While you certainly can get there by dirty means that doesn't mean that's the only way to get there.

The executive branch has some very specific powers and qualities that only particular people would even be halfway decent at attempting to wrap their heads around. Obama was heavily criticized during his first run for having such little experience. That's one of the reasons that governors tend to be more often nominated than senators or other government positions.

Then, the rubes went and 'elected' the trumpster fire.

It is strange, her being black shouldn't be a factor in her winning the election, given Obama and his family served the nation well. But what is an obvious roadblock is her celebrity status...because looked what happened when Trump got elected because of his celeb following... That's true in some cases, but not in others. If one is a big-selling author, one can get a lot of wealth without depending on others' labors very much. Oprah Winfrey has been much like that as a TV host, though it may well be that she has some employee-problems skeletons in her closet.

But if she does, then they are not as notable as Donald Trump's. He has enough to fill a cemetery. He has had a long history of stiffing employees and contractors. He even stiffs his lawyers. He also likes to invite over workers from other countries, often illegally. So some of his wealth is from grinding his feet in others' faces.

The other way is to inherit, which means your father or grandfather did it for you. Like Mr Trump. The only reason why he still bothers is because he likes doing it.

Also, inheritance is a big fat handout, and handouts are supposed to be morally corrupting.
