Russian Invasion of Ukraine - tactics and logistics

Just for laughs....

Video's like that warm my soul! Seriously, Rusia's invasion into Europe will have many long term side effects that will haunt Russia for generations. Another one will be the laughable failure of the Russian weapons. According to the below link, their smart weapons have a failure rate of 60%!

https://cepa.org/russias-military-failure-on-an-awesome-scale/

No one is going to buy Russian weapons after this war. This will make the cost of their weapons more and more expensive.

So, Poroshenko blurted out the truth - Ukraine had no intention of complying with Minsk Accords and the reason for signing them was to get time to get weapons from NATO and attack Russia/Eastern Ukraine.

And that old video from 1997 about US army "scenario" training about war with China and Russia about Ukraine NATO membership. In that scenario it was year 2025.
here is a 1997 video:

The guy is a an ukrainian journalist who had spent 2 years and 3 months in ukrainian prison on trumped up chatrges by Poroshenko regime.

this is also from him

I suspect EU/US/lithuanian idiots are scratching their heads now, cause it ain't looking good for Lithuania.

Russia (through its proxies) never abided by the Minks agreements either. And nobody ever attacked Russia, or even planned to do so. It was Russia who attacked Ukraine.

Why do you think so? Russia said that it would take action against "Lithuanian people" in a few days, and it's been almost a week now. I don't think anything major will happen.

Do you really think Russia will attack Lithuania? Lithuania is a NATO member. Russia is having problems defeating Ukraine. Do you think Russia can take on NATO?

Yea. Nothing against our Ukrainian brothers fighting now as they have probably stopped WW3. No doubt that if Russia had taken over Ukraine early in the war, they would have invaded Poland. But Russia is really struggling against Ukraine with old weapons systems. They can't gain air superiority over Ukraine! It's astounding. Ukraine has 40 year old that was built by Russia! They can't defeat their own system. If Russia attacks any Nato country, they will lose their remaining putrid air force, and then their artillery system shortly after.

Russia has fucked up like only Russia can, but it's still winning. Ukraine just withdrew from Severodonetsk, and likely will have to withdraw from Lysychansk very soon as well, and pull back to more defensible position. Right now Ukrainian forces in the East are surrounded on three sides by Russian artillery.

Air superiority is something that still can be attained. Ukraine has old S-300 systems, and then some smaller systems and MANPADS from the west. But those S-300s are irreplaceable. When they're gone, they're gone. And each time they're destroyed, Ukrainian air defense becomes weaker, which makes it easier for Russia to destroy the remaining ones. So at some point, Russia may yet gain air superiority. Even now, cruise missiles and the fact that Russia can strike any stationary target almost anywhere in Ukraine is a huge problem for logistics, and it might get worse.

Russia has deployed multiple S-300, S-400 and other SAM systems to Ukraine, and of course within its own borders and Crimea, because these things have a range of hundreds of kilometers. On the other hand, there was a video on twitter of Ukraine shooting three Tochka-U cruise missiles. The air defense for that operation was one guy with a Stinger.

Ukraine needs new weapons and ammunition badly, but it also needs to learn new tactics to counter Russian artillery advantage.

Britain is also a nuclear power. Vodka soaked threats from a stupid Russian media clown don't matter. Russia's military knows the UK can retaliate if stupidly attacked. The RAF's bombing campaign against Germany in WW2 demonstrates the Brits can be utterly ruthless.

And note that the entire UK arsenal is carried on boomers--very hard to take out in an initial strike.

It's Russia that broke them.

In other words, a Russian agent.

Is the code word to launch the nukes "OK Boomer"? :)
