Sanders!

the more ideologically pronounced candidate is polling well in one or two places 17 months before the election? STOP THE PRESSES EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD JUST CHANGED.

it's gonna be sanders vs. trump, just you wait and see.

Don't get all fidgety and ready for this matchup. It is a long horse race with a lot of very dirty candidates. Our electorate is fickle...remember we had Dibbiya for eight years...and then Barry. It well could come down to the energizer bunny. If Bernie wins, he would have to have a lot of coattails, I feel he just might not have as our system has so many gerrymandered permanent shills in office. I wish him well, but nurture no illusions about the prospects of anybody doing well in our current political system. I feel Trump would be a loser. What is scary is seeing another Bush in the White House.

The Bern-mentum continues as now Sanders has officially won the hearts and minds of Democrats:

That's somewhat of a biased poll since Sanders has been going around the early primary states giving people free buckets of chicken. Then when Hillary comes through town, she brings Bill with her and he steals everybody's chicken.

This skews the results.

I think it's 5 bucks but you get a cookie.

But if it were a free bucket of chicken and a twelve pack of beer I'd vote for the guy.

What kind of beer?

Depends on where he is. He always chooses a local brew to show that he's a man of the people who cares about the local industries and yada yada yada. Sometimes it's quality alcohol, sometimes it makes you wish you were drinking a Bud Lite.

Now I want a bucket of chicken.

Seriously though, should Sanders win the nomination, who would be resemble more: Mc"doesn't"Govern, Mondale, or Dukakis?

I would say getting close to Dukakis (which Chrome somehow suggests is a misspelling of "Sukiyaki") would be a major success for him.

Wasn't this the prediction for Obama?

Remember, this was before all the racial healing Obama brought so "progressives" didn't automatically assume everyone everywhere was a racist.

I recall polls generally showing Obama would win throughout. Certainly never that he would lose by landslide.

You assume that a majority want change?

The majority are hurting. They are slowly spinning down the toilet made for them by their betters.

Harry: You mean you think society is happy with a train system about 70 years out of date, crumbling infrastructure, the declining possibilities for middle class kids to get through college, constant war, still millions uncovered by healthcare, etc. etc. You really think the majority is happy with this shit?
