On first listen I got a lot of yelling of Wichser (wanker), Arschloch (asshole), I think I also heard Kanacke (slur for dark-skinned people). At one point the shooter (?) says he was born in Germany.

huh, what a strange scene. Takes a lot a bravery to yell at a active shooter even from a protected location.

I am sure the police will be looking at that video (assuming from this event and not from something else) to figure out what happened...
 
Every disgruntled psychopath is crawling out of the woodwork.

There are a lot of unstable people in the world.

Constant irrational hatred hurled towards Muslims and constant violence against Muslims has an effect on these fragile individuals.

The individual may think they have a perfectly reasonable critique of Islam, and not a bunch of blanket bigotry.

But in the cacophony of anti-Muslim hysteria the fragile individual doesn't notice the distinctions, just the mass hatred.

Since the shooters have not been identified as Muslims at this time, what does any of this have to do with the OP? Even if Islam is the most fucked up ideology in the history of mankind, if the shooters are not Muslim, then it does not make a difference at all.

Or if they are Muslim, same thing. It's people who are making decisions to do these things. If they are using their religion as an excuse that doesn't change the fact that they are the ones making the decision to pull the trigger. Blaming their religion is letting them off the hook. Something I'm not going to do.

Yeah, it's a fucked up religion, but no more fucked up than the other abrahamic religions.

This is of course correct. Religion is a political vehicle to herd the masses. Someone can say God told me to kill them, but he still did the killing of course.

If we were in the dark ages or pre CE I would agree with you. But we aren't, so it is currently way more fucked up than the other abrahamic religions as they are currently practiced

The gunman who killed nine people in Munich was obsessed with mass shootings and had an obvious link to Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik, German police say.

Police who searched the 18-year-old's room say they found written material on attacks.

The gunman, who later killed himself, had a 9mm Glock pistol and 300 bullets.

Police are investigating whether he may have lured his victims through a Facebook invitation to a restaurant.

He is suspected of using a fake account under a girl's name to invite people to the McDonald's restaurant where he launched his attack.

Friday evening's attack at the Olympia shopping mall also left 27 people injured, including children.

Seven of the dead were teenagers. Three victims were from Kosovo, three from Turkey and one from Greece.

Police say the gunman had been in psychiatric care, receiving treatment for depression.
