That seems to be the extent of their capability. Seriously, did nobody notice that the presidency has been steadily usurping powers from the other branches of government,

Oh, we noticed. But, see, if we reversed that, say if we were afraid their guy would use those powers, then OUR guy wouldn't be able to use those powers to redress the balance afterwards.

We expected them to be gentlemen about it, not to so BLATANTLY abuse the powers...
