So now that DC riots are over ...

How many regimens do they have per division, Derec?
Are the battalions within each regimen led by lieutenant colonels? Who do they report to?
How many regimens do they deploy to each BLM event, and who makes that decision?

It is obvious I meant "division" in the meaning of "one of the parts or groupings into which a whole is divided or is divisible" (Merriam-Webster, definition 2) and not as a major military unit. And yes, I mean major as an adjective and not a rank, jeez.

You are so full of shit...

LMAO. Says the guy who purposely misrepresent that which is written and writes a whole rant based on that.

P.S.: The word you are looking for is "regiment", not "regimen".

P.P.S.: What is your opinion of left-wing extremists attacking a police precinct just because some knife-wielding suspect got himself shot?

And it still wouldn't be true. Even if every one of their members claimed to be Antifa, or BLM (also a separate group btw), they remain two separate and distinct groups because these groups are specifically defined by the ideology central to the naming term. "Black lives matter" posits that we should act in accordance with the acceptance that black lives matter as much as all other lives. Antifa believes that we should take direct action as necessary to prevent the advance of fascism. Full stop.

There is no organization beyond this any more as there is any official such organization for furries, or trekkies, or weeaboos.

That's not how this works except in the heads of the most recalcitrant of conspiracy theorists!

But of course Derec in his sanctimonious-yet-utterly-dishonest way, tries to paint antifa as some paramilitary entity with "divisions", and acts all butthurt when called out on it.
Typical.

Anyone remember the Brooks Bothers Riot where Tom Delay sent his staffers to pound on the windows of a vote counting office yelling "stop the count!"?

Conservatives sure seem to have a history of not liking democracy.
As a reminder, Roger Stone was one of those "grassroots" protestors.

Isn't the more interesting question whether those in power will use 1/6 as an excuse to curtail domestic civil liberties?
... presstitutes ... [snipped]

A week or two ago I embarrassed myself by failing to recognize that Mr. Bomb's idiot-like post was just a sarcastic caricature of Republican "thought."

So ... I'm trying to be more cautious now. Mr. Vonse's laughable screed was just more sarcasm, right?

Why should we assume that? There are many people who actually believe this garbage.

That point should be well taken. "Many people" are fucking morons, "many people" still believe Trump's Big Lie in the absence of any shred of evidence to support it. "Many people" think banning the marmalade moron from Twitter is "Orwellian".

The hysteria over #BLM and antifa is driven solely by fear and a complete lack of empathy for the views of people who are different. I find it annoying but pitiable.

He wasn’t just banned from Twitter. He was banned from nearly all social media sites. He was unpersoned. Stalin would be proud.

Ha ha ha!

Oh, wait....

Of all people, even Angela Merkle was aghast at this. But authoritarians like you just smile.

Before I ask for a citation,
Let me ask you why Angela Merkel's opinions suddenly matter to you? Because what I'm seeing here is profoundly hypocritical irony-o-meter breaking.

"Aghast"? The word she used was "problematic".

(Merkel spokesperson) Seibert said that, while Twitter was right to flag Trump’s inaccurate tweets about the 2020 U.S. election, banning his account altogether was a step too far. He added that governments, not private companies, should decide on any limitations to freedom of speech.

I'm sure you'd be all for that, right?

Had Trump been any other person, he'd been banned already. The incitement of the riot and then his post riot crap possibly inciting future violence gave social media no options. Steve Howe (baseball player not the prog rock guitarist) had fewer "last" chances than Trump. Allowing Trump to continue inciting potential future violence can make them liable for those action. They aren't censoring his speech, they are covering their legal asses from liability.

Stalin would not be proud of Trump. He would have been disappointed that Trump was so fucking stupid he violated the TOS of every social media platform. That's what you were implying, right?

Headline: 2020 was the year America's right wing -- with which I assume you identify -- decided to end the democratic experiment and simply rub out the electoral process and the right of the people to elect a leader. There could not be a starker break with our laws and traditions and way of life than the one that Republicans are still defending.

As everyone knows, first came the corporate-led social media bans. Then Stalin put everyone in the gulags.

"Blah blah blah democrats are communists. Blah blah blah this is the only argument I ever use, because I have no concept of critical thinking."

LOL yeah, Stalin was well known for dealing with political problems by.... doing nothing and waiting patiently for some companies to stop doing business with his opponents.
