God and the Bible are perfect, and the official teaching (I kid you not) is that if you find something wrong with the Bible, then something must be wrong with you, because the Bible is perfect and infallible.

When Adam and Woman were alone in the Garden and screwed things up, the ENTIRE POPULATION OF THE WORLD were direct sinners and God killed...no one.
We only know of four people who were alive when Cain killed Abel. WIthout Abel the ENTIRE POPULATION OF THE WORLD were direct sinners. Two disobedient, one fratricide. God killed...no one.
