I'm talking about the ones that helped him first beat the pants off the Republican party and then the democratic party. That was impressive enough, but then he went and beat the pants off the media and the Intelligence agencies. LBJ was a pretty powerful and forceful President. But he was a seasoned politician who also knew his way around Congress. That's not Trump's gig. America has changed a lot since Johnson's time and since Reagan, Clinton, Bush and Obama institued and nurtured neo-liberal policies have taken hold of American politics. It was ripe for an aggressive, bombastic personality for President. Trump fits the bill like probably no one else. Perot was the closest other that we've seen enter politics, but he's no Donald Trump either.

My brother just watched the Houston Ted Cruz rally with Donald Trump. When Ted Cruz came to the stage, about half the crowd booed him. WTF? At his own campaign rally? Apparently a lot of people were there to see Trump, not Cruz. This does not bode well.
