Terrorists take over federal Building, threaten violence

Send in some paddy wagons and cops. Send the silly buggers a few cases of cheap whisky, and some barbituates. When they are bombed out of their skulls go in and carry them out.
Naw. Just send a large box of Ayn Rand books with some knockout gas container in the box.

That's a tautology; all boxes of Ayn Rand books are large, because she didn't believe in using one word where two hundred would suffice.

Atlas Shrugged is such a large tome that, ironically, it could be used to prop up the world.

My yoga joes were not delivered...

I got a message saying they tried to deliver it, but there was 'no safe place' to leave the package.

But... I used the General Delivery address.
General Delivery goes to the post office.
That's where they got the bag o' dicks.
What the hell is going on?

Gov. Kate Brown said federal officials "must move quickly to end the occupation and hold all of the wrongdoers accountable."

"The residents of Harney County have been overlooked and underserved by federal officials' response thus far. I have conveyed these very grave concerns directly to our leaders at the highest levels of our government: the U.S. Department of Justice and the White House," she said at a news conference.

Exasperated by a tense situation that has caused fear among local residents since it began Jan. 2, Brown said, "This spectacle of lawlessness must end, and until Harney County is free of it, I will not stop insisting that federal officials enforce the law."

"GO HOME! GO HOME! GO HOME!"

Sounds like a lot of people don't want the Bundys and their ilk there anymore.

Even though they have played lip service to the idea of accepting the will of the people... they will never accept that the people telling them to go home are anything but government plants.

They don't even need a conspiracy.

One of my division officers volunteered us all for something. We complained. It was extra work and not a single one of us felt that the rewards on offer were worth it.
He said he'd allow us to put it to a vote.
We UNANIMOUSLY voted not to do it.
When the LPO reported the results, he was surprised. And saddened. He really expected that at least the majority would want to jump in and continue. "Well, I'm disappointed in the vote, so we're all going to jump in and continue, anyway, because that's how the vote should have gone." Because it really was better for the division, no matter our feelings at the time.

He was still surprised that when we won $100 worth of Shiny New CLEANING SUPPLIES, we didn't change our mind and say it was worth it.

We were just too stupid to realize what was good for us.

Well now day number whatever in the fight for freedom and sovereignty from the Federal Government. They still haven't hacked each other to little pieces, so really this has been a successful coup.

Go Kate!!! Our replacement governor hasn't been doing too bad...

That's a plus. If there'd been a pool for when they'd start killing each other off, I'd have picked a long while before now. Good job by them on keeping sane. I guess all those drives into town to have a few beers paid off.

Ah, the annual United Way drive. Pity the way some treat us isn't it. Expected to recruit and solicit and contribute beyond normal demands all for the privilege of seeing money going to corporate's region. Wahoo.
