Hilarious that conservatives claim to "know history and basic economics" while supporting a president who has displayed so many of the warning signs of fascism.
 
Every single progressive idea to be put forth in US history, at least in the last century, has been met with "tEh sOciALisMs!!!!111!!" Every generation of conservatives then enjoys those progressive institutions while railing "tEh sOciALisMs!!!!111!!" in response to any new ideas that come along. I'm guessing they'll continue to enjoy and benefit from progressive programs and ideas for generations to come, all while continuing to cry about new ones.

And, as always, if "tEh sOciALisMs!!!!111!!" doesn't work, step up the demonization with "tEh cOmMuNiSmZ!!!!111!"

I did read your link. Trump was doing as he often did - comment how the US had become weak and easily taken advantage of in the world. How does that make him a fascist? Do you have a definition of fascism other than people you don’t like?

Ah yep! Republicans are very savvy with language. They labeled any progressive action on the left and socialism a long time ago. For some bizarre reason, some on the left have accepted this definition! So, you can't solely blame republicans for this misuse of language.

Really, because they allegedly broke the hearts of some people in China? That is a rather idiosyncratic rationale. Of course, it does deflect from all the damage Trump has done to the US image around the world, including China.
