The “IQ” test

I don't understand the "draw the cube" test. Are you supposed to just use the letters or just the numbers or a combination?

Is it 1-A, 2-B, 3-C, etc.? But that's not going to be a cube.
Yeah, doesn't make any sense. I would think the objective would be to connect the proper vertexes, but they aren't laid out correctly.
There are two questions there on that section.

One is to draw a cube, and one is to connect "1-a-2-b". There are two little [ ] boxes down there.
I am slightly concerned about the number of members here who didn't notice that straight away...
I'm concerned by the way they separated the other tests into their own box but put those two together. All the other unrelated tests are separated.
...But the animals section has 3 things to be named. These two things are related: they are both about visual/spatial.

The animals section is related. That's why it's the "animals section".

But visual/spatial executive tasks like drawing a line from points to make some shape or concept hold ARE related, and both visual/spatial executive.

That said, I didn't catch it at first, myself. I think it's there that way specifically because it's a little tricky, the sort of question anyone can miss, and especially the cognitively compromised.

So, to summarize this thread so far...

- On 10/29, hurtinbuckaroo provides the IQ test that Trump "aced", to show how easy it really is

- Numerous people here are stumped about the first task. Much discussion ensues.

- Someone provides a helpful tip for task 2 on how to successfully draw the clockface.

- There is some discussion about task 3, regarding the naming of three commonly known animals

- A couple of people found the third task (memory) to be difficult

- A couple of others have concluded that this is not the test that Trump took.

A few others noted that there was admitted follow up which typically isn't done if the first test had a perfect result. Unless of course, the CAT scan/MRI showed a good deal of brain atrophy.

We really don't know what the mental status of President and State Your Name is, but if what he is doing and saying is happening and he is fully of sound mind, that is also a red flag.

There are two kinds of people in the world. Those who can extrapolate from incomplete information,
