Here is my interpretation.

I think that is actually two separate tasks, but I could be wrong. Whoever the evaluator is would at least point out it is 2 tasks when the tester is doing it.

So the first one is not a cube. It's a pattern that begins 1-A 2....so yes, you would continue B, 3 - C and end on E.

For the next task you would copy the cube in the space below the cube.

I think you are correct. It's just not explained very well and I was overthinking it. If they had put each task in a separate box it would have been much more clear.

That is the problem. He did this test, and then there was follow up. You don't usually follow up unless there is a reason.

I did a similar assessment a few weeks ago as part of a university research study. It was basically MOCA on steroids. Nearly 90 minutes, and way harder, but actually fun. They'll be re-testing me annually until 2029. The version shown above was used for my initial screening to determine whether I would be useful for the study.

I'm sure they've already burned Trump's results.

That is the problem. He did this test, and then there was follow up. You don't usually follow up unless there is a reason.

It's not an IQ test. They give you this kind of test in hospitals, when they re trying to determine if you are still mentally competent to make your own medical decisions about your care, or to reject their opinions.

The clock thing I've done at routine medical appointments. It's for cognitive decline. Hack: Draw the twelve, three, six and nine in first and then fill in otherwise you're likely to cram your numbers together, then when you find you're drawing the nine about where the seven should be, oh shit sets in.

I like them. But I like how a single sheet of cardboard can be folded multiple times to form not just a box but one with multiple compartments.

It's not an IQ test. They give you this kind of test in hospitals, when they re trying to determine if you are still mentally competent to make your own medical decisions about your care, or to reject their opinions.

Yes, I've become much more aware of this sort of stuff very recently.

This is the evaluation sheet for the test, not the actual test. I've sat with elderly relatives during similar exams. The point is, these are all simple tasks that any person with normal abilities can perform. It's not a challenge for any 3th grader and many younger children. The questions target different parts of the brain which have to interact with each other to make decisions. This test finds degradation of brain connections, call it a loss of IQ test.

My grandmother was suffering from brain tumor and everyday when the doctor stopped by, he had a list of questions for her. One time he asked her to list all the differences between an apple and an orange. She said they were different shapes, different taste, and the apple had a stem. She never mentioned they were different colors, because the part of the brain that processes colors was the area affected by the tumor.

Maybe he scored 50/30 so they had to recheck it
In any case, I find the part of recalling random words rather difficult.

I'm concerned by the way they separated the other tests into their own box but put those two together. All the other unrelated tests are separated.
