Theocracy begins. About time to get your head out of your ass, deniers.
So, who or what organization is being violent against Christians? Who is discriminating against them? I live in the Bible Belt in a town that has about 95 churches and one tiny Freethought group that rarely even gets together to have dinner. Two of our gay members are no longer going to join us because they are "busy" and they don't want to talk about what's going on. The poor little Christians are so discriminated against here. The street preachers are downtown whenever the Weather is nice. I wonder how they would feel if the atheists were downtown telling them their beliefs were stupid.
I know the assholes have come close to destroying the SCS, but why are we still here if we are that worried about a true theocracy where those outside of the primary religion are discriminated against or jailed etc? How many of you bothered to read my post in he SCS forum about the Secular Coalition in Congress? The group is growing, so let's not give up.

Check it out. Join. Donate if you can. "We have nothing to fear but fear itself". ( hopefully

) The number of nones is growing and most Christians who I've known do support the religious freedom. The more open we are, the more they realize that we aren't the bad guys. At least that's been my experience.
Our professional governmental affairs team located in Washington D.C. works to educate Members of Congress, Congressional staff, the White House and its Administration on the issues impacting religious freedom and nontheistic Americans. By serving as a resource on the key issues that impact our mission, we are ensuring that your lawmakers are informed about how their votes and policies will support, or undermine, the separation of church and state and the lives of nontheists and religious minorities. Our governmental affairs team is working with the
Congressional Freethought Caucus and our Capitol Hill champions to advocate for the passing of legislation that supports a secular government and raises the profile of secular Americans and our secular values in Washington.
The
Congressional Freethought Caucus was founded by Representatives
Huffman and
Raskin in April, 2018.
There are quite a few other members in Congress. You can see who they are if you check out secular.org
