The Remarkable Progress of Renewable Energy

Our world is being run by people who believe utterly nonsensical tripe, because they don't have the technical training to be able to grasp the fundamentals of the problems they face, nor of the solutions they are offered.
While you are correct that many of the rulers of countries do not have technical degrees, but they have such people to explain things to them. I do not think you consider them to be dumb.
I already told you--appearances.
Modi has no need for glorification. All through his rule for 25 years, 13 years as the Chief Minister of Gujarat State and 12 years as Prime Minister of India, he has enjoyed immense popularity in India and abroad. His approval rating leads all others at some 70%. There is more than just show in H2 rail and motor vehicles. Yesterday, he was welcomed by 30,000+ Indians, full house at Marvel Stadium, Melbourne. Sure, Modi Hugs all around. In Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. A Brahmos deal with Indonesia and a Uranium deal with Australia. Deals with New Zealand too (He is there today). Modi is a phenomenon, 35 highest Civilian honors from countries all over the world.

You still don't get it. You are a democracy. The primary job of the leadership of a democracy to appear to be accomplishing things. This is far more important than actually accomplishing things.

Most Indians do not doubt Modi's accomplishments. I feel safe in times of tariffs and Hormuz with Modi at the helm. Whether it is floods, oil or Pakistan, he will take care. BTW, we have more LPG than needed, all because we purchased more during the crisis. Perhaps we will need it in near future. Israel is considering producing Iron Dome missiles in India. :)

Modi has done better than his predecessors, Narasimha Rao and Manmohan Singh, who introduced new economic policies.

Looking at the the picture 2nd row left you have 2 PMs - Modi of India and Albanese of Australia.
One knows to how to do politics and then you have Albanese - a fool in sheep's clothing

:) That may be your view, but Albanese has always been nice to India. Leaders change in democracies,
Modi tenure ends in May 2029. Can he handover the reins to someone else and become President of India in July 2027?
There are rumors, and Modi has the requisite numbers in Parliament and State legislatures to get that done. :)
That way, he can try the new comer in that position for some time.

One more thing to add about Hydrogen train, the cost.
Indian Railways sanctioned Rs 136 crore for a pilot project to retrofit a Diesel Electric Multiple Unit (DEMU) rake for the 89-km Jind-Sonipat section in Haryana. That is 14.1 million USD. Other countries spent much larger amounts - hundreds of billions of USD equivalent.

Nobody has spent that kind of money on trains. The main cost is right of way and tracks.

I thought of bilby when I noticed this sponsor on my favorite driver's car this summer at Mid-Ohio.
