Personally for me, this has nothing to do with the tax, it has everything to do with declaration.I never imagined I'd see people in this forum oppose a tax.
Trump has abused presidential declaration. Courts have ceded tremendous amount of leeway to the Presidency to allow a President to act in situations that require immediate actions that do not require getting the okay by all parties involved. Things happen suddenly, the leader needs to be able to lead.
Trump has abused this. There are people who have ridiculed President Obama to killing an American citizen (slash terrorist) without a proper trial. IE, the President declared this person no longer has US Constitutional Right. A rather substantial declaration. Yet, these same people don't seem to have a problem with Trump going all "Diplomatic immunity" with national emergencies.
Ignore the gunshot part.
He is way outside the typical area of leeway and abusing Presidential privilege and general democratic leadership. He just declares something to provide cover for his actions.
Trump is up to 67 extrajudicial killings in S. America. Strange no comment from our resident Libertarian.
When I condemned the killing of Nawar Al-Awlaki, this forum gave me a great big "So what? Big deal." Since him killing foreign brown people isn't considered bad, why bring it up?
