The Wall

Oh well. He can use the damn wall and blame the Dems for the obstruction in the 2020 campaign. If Americans feel strongly about it. Which I doubt would be the first priority.

It's not often when the President's party controls both houses and the White House. What I fail to understand is why didn't the Trumpet get the funding for the wall while he did have control of the two houses.
And this again exposes your ignorance of American politics. The GOP doesn’t want a wall. They know it won’t do any of the things Trump proclaims.

Nevertheless, he and the GOP took that policy to an election which in fact was one of the main platforms.

It's Trump's policy. The problem of immigration from South of the border is getting better. No crisis exists.

26 Percent of Eligible Voters Voted for Trump

3 times as many people did not vote for Trump as voted for him.

Far more important, though, is how many WILL vote for him?

I mean, a LOT of people have become disappointed, disillusioned, dismayed. By, ironically enough, either
1) his not coming through on campaign promises
or
2) his coming through on campaign promises.

So he's lost a few of his supporters from 2016.
But has he gained any? Is there anyone watching his antics that thinks they made a mistake in 2016 and will become a Trump supporter in 2020?

Still, there's such rampant irrationality. How can DJT's approval numbers be trending north of 45% this month? Six weeks ago he was in the dumpster at around 37%. Who are these people who disapprove of him, then support him?
Maybe his latest budget proposal, which shows what an utter liar he was two years ago in claiming he would never cut Medicare, will push him down again.
(Again, again, again, if Obama had humped the American flag while flashing a shit-eating grin at his fan base, Fox News would have two hour specials about it -- America's Unpatriotic So-Called 'President'. Can you even imagine the inflamed, anger-soused faces of Lindsey, Mitch, Rush, Sean, etc etc etc... We don't need the word hypocritical anymore -- just say Republican.)

Some people dislike it when Trump is not a big enough asshole and not doing damage somewhere.

Yup, you fell for his scam.

Neither did they vote for Killery ! I suspect those figures would look a lot different if America used the Australian system of compulsory voting. I must admit though that I'm surprised Killery attracted 26% of the vote. What is it about Americans and their death wish?

Anyone with just a tiny bit of intellect would look at the alternatives in the Dem Party such as the socialist Dem AOC and other watermelons, which leaves them with just one choice : the incumbent! Most Americans will not back an openly socialist candidate.

Benghazi...investigated more than the fact that Bush II had a specific warning about 9/11 six weeks ahead of time. Fun idea: next time you hear a harrumphing hard-righty mention Benghazi (if they're still doing it) ask them to tell you what country it's in.

I missed the whole Benghazi thing. Maybe it didn't get the same level or international reach that your other political issues do. We all know about Trump's wall for example. And it gives us all giggles.

Essentially, what could have been a valid criticism of the Obama administration's response to the storming of an American embassy in Libya and the subsequent lynching of an American diplomat turned into the Republicans trying to paint Hillary as callously watching with glee as American foreign service members were killed, witholding any aid because she is Killary, and she hates America. It was a clear politically motivated attack aimed at undermining her then future candidacy. After 10 or so investigations spanning several years, culminating in an 11 hour testimony by Clinton to Congress, they failed to find any wrongdoing.

These are the people screaming "witch hunt" right now. And look, I am no fan of Hillary Clinton, particularly her tenure as Secretary of State, but her handling of all this only made me respect her competency.

I thought Clinton secured the White House post the all-day testimony. She handled clearly, cleanly, and without any noticeable effort. It was one of those, 'yup, she has the maturity and political savvy to be President'. Instead we have a whining shit bag who lost the popular vote by millions on Twitter complaining about how unfair life is as President, promising to veto Congress smacking him back for trying to seize their power of the purse.

Yet lose to him she did. For whatever reason (or multitude of reasons) that is, he now represents your country to the rest of us. We hear "USA" we think Trump. He's your guy. Not making you look good to us to say the least.

But hey, it beats having Putin as your guy I suppose. And some of us still wonder what became of that last guy you had, the black guy with the big ears and pleasant speeches. He made you look much cooler.
