You poor triggered soul. Do you need a safety room?
Amazing how after all these years, lefties still don't understand what "triggered" means. It doesn't mean expressing opinion you disagree with.

I’m not vegan, but vegetarian that does the fish thing.

Mankind eats too much meat.

How about 3rd world countries give up having as many children as possible instead? US is not the cause of the world overpopulation problem. It is unsustainable and will cause tremendous harm down the road. So for people, especially Americans to give up some meat, it’ll feel like to them you are demanding they give up meat period.
Awww. Poor Derec, not understanding that right-wingers that get uppity about some woman who proposes something and is rejected by a commission is getting ‘triggered’.You poor triggered soul. Do you need a safety room?

Gosh, nothing like a Derec to rip out the strawman. Also, Africa isn’t a major issue when it comes to meat consumption globally.View attachment 23316

Well, since the left seems to have marching orders to rise up in unison and defend veganism, I can't imagine leftism staying particularly popular.
Anyone reading the OP knows what it means.Awww. Poor Derec, not understanding that right-wingers that get uppity about some woman who proposes something and is rejected by a commission is getting ‘triggered’.
You really don't know what "triggered" means.
Horrors, it would reduced the options. But thankfully the proposal did not come close to being adopted. But that did not stop the hysterics.Let's suppose that this proposal is adopted. Just think of the utter terror and effort on the part of non-vegans in having to make a choice!!!! Wow.
The meat-free Mondays policy would have taken away choice.
Bad idea. People are in the hospital because they're sick and she wants to give them food that's harder to digest??
After reading wiki on it, I understand that impossible burger is so good that it would give you a colon cancer like real burger.Pee has urea, which is a byproduct of protein catabolism, but no proteins as such. You meant to say pea protein, but pee would explain the smell.Beyond Beef (pee protein based fake ground beef) smells awful as it cooks..![]()
The reason they use peas (and Impossible uses soy) is for leghemoglobin, a molecule similar to hemoglobin and myoglobin in animals.
They are overprocessed mess though, and I am not sure they are that much better for either health or for the environment than real meat.
Also, what they've been doing so far is mimic fast food burger meat like Burger King. They have not really been made into more fancy burgers, not to mention trying to mimic the texture of non-ground meat, such as steak.

Nope.Anyone reading the OP knows what it means.
To be triggered is to have a PTSD-like psychophysiological response to an event--a "trigger".
No, it is pretty obvious to the non-triggered.How you get that from the OP is anyone's guess.
