You misunderstand. When it looked as if Hilary Clinton was going to win, Republicans were already talking impeachment.

Hence the question: "What were they planning to impeach Clinton for?"

That is what he could be impeached for.

If two consenting adults want to use emoluments in the privacy of the bedroom, I don't see that it is any business of the government's.

Sorry, emoluments are God-ordained and are only part of a healthy moral society when used by a man and a woman. Otherwise you'd have someone trying to use emoluments with his dog.
