I don't know if underseer is transphobic or not. Referring to somebody as having trans porn on his phone as "busted" does hint in that direction. As does the person who wrote 'i knew he was vermin' as if having trans porn has something to do with being vermin or confirming somebody is.

Here is what actually was stated:
Person#1: "The conservolibertarians who won't shut up about transsexuals turn out to masturbate to trans videos."
Person#2: "...vermin..."

Person#1 made a statement about the hypocrisy of a jagoff. Person#2 responded that confirmed jagoff was vermin.

Then you recklessly (at best) taking Person#2 out of context and I paraphrase: "WHY WOULD YOU SAY HE'S VERMIN FOR LOOKING AT TRANS PORN?! YOU MUST BE A TRANSPHOBE. TRANSPHOBE!"

Why do you feel the need to defend people like Jones who actively seek to harm trans people?

I am not defending Jones. Jones is irrelevant to what I have written. If anything I am defending the concept of having trans porn. Jones is vermin, but him having trans porn isnt being "busted" and doesn't affirm that he is vermin. One should not be reacting to Jones having it as if it does confirm he is vermin. To do so is transphobic, or at least anti-trans-porn.

As for my political affiliation, I was a strong advocate for Bernie Sanders over Hilary Clinton though. I wish we had more like him here. And if I had to choose a party it would have probably been the Green party, though they have their faults.

I consider myself actually on the left rather than on the corporate left or illiberal left. I am for things like universal single payer health care and universal basic income, which other so-called liberals consider over idealistic so they don't try.

Given how polarized how things have become, if you say something neutral half the people will scream "you didn't attack him that means you love him" and the other half will scream "you didn't praise him that means you hate him."

But sure. Tell me how I'm the "real transphobe" for pointing that out. What is with you people? Criticizing fascists makes someone "the real fascist," criticizing racists makes someone "the real racist," and now criticizing a transphobe makes someone "the real transphobe."

Given how polarized how things have become, if you say something neutral half the people will scream "you didn't attack him that means you love him" and the other half will scream "you didn't praise him that means you hate him."

Exactly. If you go onto boards with both ideological bents (or more than 2), you will indeed find that the same statements will draw radically different responses. It is pretty eye opening, and I don't think many people do it, preferring to stay in their own ideological bubbles and echo chambers.
