Well I predicted that if he denied it in the second debate, women would come out, much like with Cosby. ;)

His only character saving option was to drop out and play the "I'm sorry" card. He didn't want to drop out because Trump hates losing, so after being badgered by the MSM, he said 'no', and well, what followed was predictable.

The best part is the right-wing solution to this quandry is note that Trump hasn't been convicted of anything, therefore... umm.... he wasn't convicted of anything... so now lets talk about the 33 murders the Clintons are responsible for. :rolleyes:

It really does display a cartoonish idiocy - somehow he's trying to say that a consensual act by two, possibly more, adults is bad while unilateral-nonconsensual groping is good. The reverse is not a leftist position, anyone with two brain cells to rub together would take the same position. Of course he knows his audience...

Limbaugh somehow managed to recite this rant without using the stock phrase used in 99 percent of its incarnations: “Anything goes!” But that’s still his argument — that “the left” believes that as long as there’s consent, then “anything goes.”

But that’s not the claim. The claim is not that consent is sufficient, but that it is necessary. The claim is not that with consent, “anything goes,” but rather that without consent, nothing goes.

That's not what he's saying. He's saying that consent is the only thing liberals care about, but he is speaking from a position (or really, to listeners who hold the position) that when it comes to sexual matters, "deviancy" is bad.

But doesn't Limbaugh and others of his thinking define "deviancy" as anything sexual outside of traditional male-female marriage?

That's why they hate that teenagers have sex--so much so that they won't support the removal any of the potential dangers of teen sex like HPV--but they can't understand it when a woman claims that her husband raped her. How can deviancy occur within marriage? How can sex outside of marriage NOT be deviant?

Granted, Trump groping a woman he's not married to technically falls outside that narrow sexual ethic. But Limbaugh's not about to criticize his chosen Hillary-Defeater over that. Instead, he'll push back against "leftists" who do criticize Trump for being hypocritical. "Whaddya complaining about?" Limbaugh asks. "Since this sixties you've been telling us that if it feels good, do it, and now all of a sudden you're scandalized??"

Yes, Rush, because sexual ethics begins and ends with consent, not marriage.

It's a compound statement, and I acknowledged that he and his listeners are against 'deviancy', but he's also complaining about the 'rape police' coming for him when there's no consent.
