• Welcome to the Internet Infidels Discussion Board.

Trump creates initiative to decriminalize homosexuality world wide - that's racist.

4-dimensional chess, you suckers!
Any time Cheato gets called out for homophobic policies that are actually being implemented and supported during the next 21 months (and he will be called out), he will throw out his meaningless so-called initiative and claim "I SAVED all you faggots, and now you OWE me your vote! Nobody loves gay people more than me! I SAVED 'em. Who else can say that? I SAVED 'em."

Is any of it really 4-D chess?

It is checkers fooling dummies.

For anyone with a brain Trump is as transparent as glass.

A cheap con man in over his head and incompetent.

Resorting to declarations of national emergencies.

And yet he's President and you're some anonymous guy on an Internet forum.

His father gave him half a billion dollars.

Who knows if he has made a cent on his own? He failed in the casino business. Bankrupt operation one after another. Airlines, Trump steaks, the list is long of his failures.

Yet some morons think he got to where he is because he is so great.

Without his fathers money Trump would be selling used cars.

And I'm sure you're a regular reader of Out magazine.

I don't agree that this campaign is racist (nor is that actually what the article claims as such) but I'm not surprised that this particular outlet is skeptical when Trump suddenly claims to be pro LGBTQIA after years of persecution. This exact pattern is not new, in fact. Trump is pro-gay exactly and only in cases where doing so is an affront to Muslim political forces of some kind. I don't think it is a racist policy on his part, but it is openly deceptive, and does not reflect his general position on gender and sexual liberties.

Another OUT Op-ed this week:

Trump Seems Unaware of His Plan to Wipe Out Anti-Gay Laws Abroad

Shocking.

Yeah, I posted this in the Day Without Stupid thread last week.

I guess we need to take what we can get. Though, it seems weird to be "leading" this charge while also kicking out the transgenders from the military.

Iran, which throws gay people off rooftops, is better than Trump who is trying to stop them from throwing gay people off rooftops.
That's a right massive non-sequitor.

Seriously how does questioning Trump's motives = 'Iran is better than Trump'?

I really wish we could get some of the Outrage Mob in here to clarify some of this.

I'd hate to accidentally criticize the wrong person's anti-gay views and be called a racist.

The trouble is the bigotry of low expectations
Coming from a Trump supporter, that one broke every irony meter that has and will exist.

Listen I get Orange Man Bad and all, but can I get a cite on Trump's "years of persecution" of the LGBTQIAP+ community?

A. I'm not the "orange man bad" type; I don't like the man in the slightest, true, but I'm capable of admitting when he does good things, and he has done some good things.

B. Holy shit what rock have you been living under. He has definitely done some bad things.

A brief listing:

- he selected a virulent anti-LGBTQIA+ activist and policy-maker as his vice president.

- his second action in office was to remove all references to LGBTQIA+ issues from the website and published materials of the White House (this was literally 2 hrs after the inauguration). This included the official apology for the Lavender Scare.

- he canceled the executive order that had formerly protected LGBTQIA+ people from workplace discrimination by the federal government.

- nominated two supreme court justices known for hostility against LGBTQIA+ people.

- appointed anti-LGBTQIA+ activists to head the Departments of Education and Health & Human Services, as well as the Secretary of the Army, and director of the Office for Civil Rights.

- started a new agency, the Division of Conscience and Religious Freedom, part of whose charter is to advocate against LGBTQIA+ rights.

- eliminated all Title IX protections for transgendered students in public schools, and made it generally more difficult for rape victims to get help.

- refused to engage with the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA); six members resigned, and he fired the rest.

- reinstated a ban on qualified transgender people serving in the military.

- in a public address, knowing perfectly well that his microphone was on, laughed at the thought of his VP "hanging all gays". Like it was a light joke or soemthing.

- published an executive order that required AG Sessions to define a right-to-discriminate among all agencies (this one, thank god, died in the courts later).

- and another that ordered prisons to use "biological sex" (whatever tf that means) to determine prisoner treatment.

- has advocated for a "right" for businesses to hang signs forbidding gay customers.

- has widely dismantled collection of information on use of social services for LGBTQIA+ people by numerous agencies, making it much harder to know what is even going on.

Look, I don't agree with that policy, but why are you putting scare quotes around "biological sex?"

Because a lot of monied interests wanted him in power. The GOP because he would favor their insane tax policy, the Russians because he would hurt America. His only merit was being charismatic.

They aren't scare quotes, they're just... you know, quote quotes. That's literally what they said. No one knows what those words are actually supposed to mean, in the context of the legislation in question. Biology seems to imply science, but the conclusions of science are roundly ignored in the ensuing recommendations supposedly tied to them. Are we supposed to perform genetic testing on every new prisoner to determine chromosomal composition? Or test for the presence of sex hormones and create some arbitrary rubric for acceptable proportions, thus allowing trans persons who have completed their transition into the facility they would have preferred anyway, but upsetting social conservatives? Should there be special facilities for inmates with Turner's or Klinefelter's syndromes, since their biological sex follows an uncommon and non-binary pattern? I believe we had this conversation on the forum closer to the time when it happened, though I'm not sure in which thread.

Ok, gotcha.
