I can't wait for DOGE to dismantle the NTSB because they are so damned slow if finding the blame....er...cause of air accidents. Why, our dear leader had this issue identified less than 12 hours after it happens. This helps with the cleanup as you don't have those NTSB weenies roaming around and getting in the way of pulling the dead bodies from the river. Thanks to a russian spy and talkative american pilots in her car I now know that system (ADS-B) which basically prevents such collisions exist but was .... turned off on the helicopter.
She also confirmed my impression that pilot(s) were basically careless and paid no attention when they said they see the jet.
