I have never, never understood how "rebranding" would work with someone as extreme as Trump, who has given off this high-octane stink for 14 months now, and for years before that as a crazed Birther. This isn't really "re-branding", this is doubling down on the Trump brand. This is about after the election. It's about money and ego-it's always been about money and ego. The new TCN, or Trump Cable Network will make billions of dollars. It'll be reality TV 24-7, sprinkled with "news" shows produced by those who have treated Trump fairly like Breitbart's Bannon.

What's bothering me is that Trump kept Manafort on as Campaign Chairmain Emeritus of Special Projects. Even Lewandowski is still on the payroll. But I thought Trump liked to fire people. Isn't that his brand? I am beginning to wonder about that guy.
