Trump Tests Positive For Covid-19

Wendell Potter on Twitter: "Here’s an interesting irony: ..." / Twitter
Here’s an interesting irony: Everyone around Trump who gets #COVID19 may be in big trouble if they get their wish & gut Obamacare. Why? In the future, COVID will likely be classified by private insurers as a pre-existing condition. I'd know - I used to be an insurance exec. (1/8)

I sincerely hope & pray the President, First Lady & those around them who've contracted COVID get well. I hope & pray the same for all people, here & around the world. Now here's my concern about what they're doing to Obamacare & how it will affect those with COVID: (2/8)

I know firsthand that before the ACA, insurers kept a list of 400+ conditions they used to either reject applicants, or charge them more than they could afford to pay for coverage. If I were Hope Hicks, I might be concerned that my boss wants to go back to that system. (3/8)

The conditions my old company would use to deny care ranged from ones that many babies were born with to the many forms of heart disease & cancer. They also included things like diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure & even acne. (4/8)

Joe Biden was right when he said that more than 100 million people in the US have a preexisting condition insurers could use against them. Trump said it wasn’t true, but his own CDC said as many as 129 million of us have at least one. And now he & his loved ones do, too. (5/8)

If you think the president can use an executive order to force insurers to cover preexisting conditions, you don’t know the industry like I do. They don't want to cover you if they might have to pay big medical bills. They want to make money and reward shareholders & execs. (6/8)

As for COVID, the millions of Americans who’ve had it could end up with 1 or *many* preexisting conditions. Without the ACA, insurers will shun them. This practice drove the number of uninsured in America to 50 million before ACA was passed. And that was before a pandemic. (7/8)

But this won't just screw over the president and his associates. It will kill and bankrupt many Americans. Please think about that when you vote. (/END.)

I can't say he looks sick. All I can say is that he does not look relaxed/normal, he is trying too hard I think.

From what I've read this morning, his inappropriate behavior is having the opposite effect of what he wants. People who have lost family or friends to COVID or who have suffered serious complications themselves are very upset, even outraged by his attempt to play down the seriousness of the pandemic.

Plus, he's still probably shedding virus and he has no concern at all for the people around him, or the people that he may have already infected due to his careless behavior. The man is obviously mentally unfit to be president.

I saw a great ad this morning by the Lincoln Project about the pandemic. It mentioned all the people who have lost loved ones to COVID and ended with "Vote him out". Yes, that's what we need to do.

CC's response to Trump's tweet about returning to the White House at 6:30 PM:
he is so ridiculous. apparently he
doing badly lol and they are doing what
they can to stabilize him
I don't know if she has any inside knowledge or if she's speculating, but that's plausible.
I would keep confidence in Claudia Conway's tweets down a bit.

Trump's health meter at this point is determined almost exclusively by his twitter feed. 3 tweets today, very long, and while Trump-ish, have a feeling of the man behind the curtain.

He's even alienated the Secret Service, the people who are supposed to take a bullet for him.

Trump seemed to defy the laws of science and disease. Then, the coronavirus caught up with him. - The Washington Post

Secret Service agents expressed their anger and frustration to colleagues and friends Friday, saying that the president’s actions have repeatedly put them at risk. “He’s never cared about us,” one agent told a confidant, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe the internal reaction.

Former Secret Service agents said it was unheard of for agents to openly complain about their president but that some currently in the ranks had become convinced during the pandemic that Trump was willing to put his protectors in harm’s way.

Agents who work in field offices around the country complained that since late August, they are no longer being tested when they return home from working at a rally for the president.

“This administration doesn’t care about the Secret Service,” one current agent relayed in an internal discussion group. “It’s so obvious.”

Right. Looks like he's faking. Why not, he's full of drugs including speed. But I'm sure that in his feeble upstairs he's doing hand springs and back flips to wild adulation.

More evidence that TRump has totally lost his mind. About an hour ago, he tweeted that there will be no more discussion about a stimulus deal. Shortly after the DOW dropped over 400 points, and closed down about 377. It was up over 100 shortly before his tweet. He was already pretty nutty, but apparently either COVID or the steroids have made him even more irrational.

Not sure where this goes but it appears that the entire Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon, except for one member, is in quarantine because the dude in charge of the Coast Guard had meetings and has C19.

Reichstag Fire.

Trying not to be a paranoid person, but I can't help but notice a power vacuum forming in DC.

I wouldn't call it a Reichstag Fire, but it's definitely a national security issue.

And Fauci the Sane is telling Trumpo that his illness is likely to return. Seems to me it hasn't gone anywhere.

When you get bone spurs, you have it for life. It's worse than cancer, covid, and the clap combined.
