As we expected, poor, white, under-educated Trump voters are getting some idea of the pain they're going to suffer over the next four years:

"Vox senior editor Sarah Kliff wrote a poignant account last week of her visit to Whitley County, Ky., where the uninsured rate declined 60 percent under Obamacare but 82 percent of voters supported Trump. There, Kliff, a former Post colleague, found Trump voters who were downright frightened that the president-elect would do exactly — literally — what he and Republicans promised: repeal Obamacare."

I can only say:

Those voters must have been the top 0.1 percentile on intelligence among Trump voters. Most Trump voters will not only never see it coming, but their anger be easily assuaged or re-directed when Don the Con informs them that 1) they are not really feeling any pain and 2) if they are, it's Clinton/Obama's fault.

Whatever will Don the Con do if "BENGHAZIMAILS!!" doesn't get the reaction he's hoping for in 2020?
Well, we'll probably be hearing about the Obama Recession in 2020.

Yeah, and all the wars he started after Bush tried SO hard to keep us out of middle east conflicts...
I don't expect alt-reality to go away any time soon.

Rather lackluster as usual the Washington Post. Perhaps this includes about 20 people or so. Certainly just like the USA politicians have a habit of saying one thing and either not doing it or doing something else.

"I thought it was just talk".

Too bad for your husband's liver transplant if that 'talk' turns out to be real.

alt-reality
stealing that. It so perfectly describes a portion of the Trumpettes.

The alt-rights and the alt-realities

Both the parties are alt-reality. They spent more time mud slinging than discussing policies. The choice was to see who was less of a Loony Tune. The US should focus its next election on issues to win and not attacking each other. I'm sure Hilary has a chance of winning if she runs again even if she seems quite old for this.

Yeah you tried that Moore-Coulter line of bullshit before the election, too. Didn't work then, Won't work now. Give it a rest. It isn't helping anything.

After seven years of complaining about ObamaCare and more than 60 votes to repeal it, it is incredible that the Republicans have no idea how to shut it down or with what, if anything, to replace it with.

I suppose that it is to be expected. After decades of talking about privatizing Social Security and Medicare, they still have no firm proposals how to do those either.

I guess when they talk about the government not being able to do anything right they are primarily talking about themselves when they are running the government.

Yup. They have been so focused on doing damage they don't know how to actually accomplish anything.
