Trump VS COVID-19 Threat

Iv'e read so much less hatred and loathing about a perceived enemy from Osama bin Laden towards the great satan the USA than the hatred shown here towards a UNdemocratically elected President.

FTFY

President Trump is cutting off funding for the World Health Organization, headed by Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, as a Reuters report notes, “the first director-general in the WHO’s 72-year history not to be a medical doctor” but a favorite of China with a radical leftist past.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is an Ethiopian microbiologist and internationally recognized malaria researcher.

And the guy running the CV-19 response in the US is a fucking dog breeder.
Melania Trump might not be your type, but there is no reason to get personal about it.

I will not deny Trump supporters the freedom of drinking bleach. They have already sacrificed so much.

Jebus fucking Christ!

“So supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it’s ultraviolet or just a very powerful light — and I think you said that hasn’t been checked because of the testing," Trump said, speaking to Bryan during the briefing. "And then I said supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or some other way and I think you said you’re going to test that too."

He added, "I see the disinfectant that knocks it out in a minute, one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning. As you see it gets in the lungs, it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that."

He also indicated that there was a beautiful rumor that standing out in the sun could help.

Fuck each and every asshole that voted for this man. Maybe some bonus pain for the assholes that continue to support this man child idiot.

He is a moron. He is very likely border line senile.

Carter as second worst president?

Jimmy Carter told Americans to wear sweaters. That was unforgivable.

Having a nuclear engineer (at Carter's age in 1970s) as prez would be pretty good now.

And the White House has their response.

“President Trump has repeatedly said that Americans should consult with medical doctors regarding coronavirus treatment, a point that he emphasized again during yesterday’s briefing. Leave it to the media to irresponsibly take President Trump out of context and run with negative headlines,” McEnany said in a statement.
Yes, they are right. Trump didn't tell Americans to administer lysol into their lungs. He merely said that his doctors should look into whether it was a good idea. This distinction, isn't as valuable as they are suggesting.

Like a large % of Trump supporters (15-30 million), Trump gets much of his thinking from Limbaugh. Trump is a ditto head. So, he probably gets his medical reasoning there too, where he hears things such as how anecdotal evidence proves things work.

Regarding HCQ:
[P]“Anecdotally it’s been positive. Anecdotal? It just means it hasn’t been scientifically tested in mass numbers, but it means it’s working. Anecdotally, I arrived at work today. It means it happened.”[/P]

When you see him say it, he looks quite sincere.
People have often wondered whether Limbaugh is as dangerously stupid as his words imply or is just acting to appeal to a particularly stupid segment of America. I vote for both. His general right wing world view is the result of sincere stupidity and lack of human decency. And while he does play things up to rile his audience, he chose that audience b/c he needed an audience that would look up to him and view him as smart. Those that have become Trump supporters (including Trump himself) are the only one's dumb enough not to marvel at the idiocy of his arguments.

Yeah, this is standard Clownstick speak (what ifs; I've heard, supposing, et.al.), to babble in hypotheticals, injecting implausible deniability into pretty much every disjointed sentence that sharts its way out.

Spot on. He has no filter (or no motive) to scissor out the crazy or unproven stuff he hears, and a lifetime supply of exculpatory phrases to shield himself, as he sees, it, from any responsibility. So he repeats crazy talk about Ted Cruz's dad and JFK, but covers himself with "You should ask the National Enquirer." I love when he starts a sentence with "Many people are saying..." You know that the rest of the sentence will be the biggest bunch of partisan, hate-filled delusion you ever heard. Yeah, many people are saying: should Rush's Medal of Freedom and the Mar-a-Lago putting greens be auctioned off to help pay for respirators?

But dipwad has ALSO repeatedly argued with, and rejected expert opinions, and his base loves him for it. And for some reason figure he's the one with the truth the DEEP STATE is hiding....

Great news! Pence says outbreak could be over by Memorial Day!

article said:
“I truly do believe that if we all continue to do that kind of social distancing and other guidance broadly from federal and state officials, that we’re going to put this coronavirus in the past,” Pence said on Geraldo Rivera’s radio show Friday. “I believe by early June we’re going to see our nation largely past this epidemic.

“I think honestly, if you look at the trends today, that I think by Memorial Day weekend we will have this coronavirus epidemic behind us,” he added.
This is wonderful news! Yesterday the World that isn't the US had 54,000 new cases of Covid-19. The US had over 30,000. That means we are doing better than the entire planet!

Tennessee restaurants to open partially on Monday. It'll be safe because they can only operate at 50% capacity. Because umm... restaurants are always at 100% otherwise... and restaurants will have access to an endless supply of gloves needed so servers can keep changing them with their service at every table.

We don't have enough PPE for hospitals, so how in the heck do we use masks for servers at restaurants? And umm... diners can't wear masks for obvious reasons, so how exactly, is this safe?

Also, I don't want to go to a restaurant where my server has to wear a mask!!!

For what it's worth, I know 99% of you won't read this copy+paste. But the Trump....sorry......bone spur has been the only President in recent history to put the UN and it's agency WHO on notice. Not since Reagan has that happened.

The sum total of why:

article said:
President Trump has pulled the plug on US funding for the WHO, based on its failures during the current pandemic.

Absolutely zero about what those supposed failures were. Hint:

1) Failure to support his hydroxychloroquine solution.

2) Failure to be a proper scapegoat and accept blame.

3) Failure to blame China for the fog of war.

Now, I don't think much of the UN, but WHO is part that actually works reasonably well.
