A university lecturer is claiming to have photographed fairies flying through the air in the British countryside.
John Hyatt, 53, says his series of photos which were taken over the past two years prove the tiny winged creatures do exist in the Rossendale Valley, Lancashire.

Why doesn't he net one - or simply swat one - and submit it to some university for analysis? It's not like they're scarce or anything - hell, in the other shots they're all over like... uh... bugs.
 
There used to be a lot floating around the meat rack in Shreveport, Louisiana, but I would not want to take pictures of them.
 
By the way, is saying "university lecturer" supposed to provide some sort of credibility? It brings to mind words like "professor" but I notice they didn't write that. Interesting.
