Been thinking about Mikey lately ... what's he doing? What is he planning?
It almost looks like he is bringing in some fresh minds to analyze his exposure on the State level vs Federal, so he can make an informed decision about whether cooperation is in his own best interest, or if he should hold out for a pardon on all things Federal, and then deal with the State charges in court...
One thing is certain - he will be on a hit list the minute he flips, so maybe he'd prefer to fight State charges rather than risk his wife waking up in bed next to a bloody severed horse head.
Thoughts?

I thought I heard that he hasn't been charged with anything.

I wonder if they just made it clear they COULD charge him, or if they leave it up to his imagination and conscience to figure out what they could charge him with?

Either way, yeah, I figure they'll charge him with State so he can't be pardoned, and once he flips, then he's betrayed Trump, who WON'T pardon him on anything else that comes up...

Smart thing would be to negotiate for full immunity, period. If that means blowing holes below the waterline of the USS Leaky Tub Trump, so much the better.
What are the chances?

Remember that he is also still fighting the countersuit in California to the blood from a stone suit that he rashly filed to prevent Stomy from doing what she had already done, tell the world that Trump had fucked her when his wife was expecting. Allegedly.

He had fifteen highly paid Manhatten lawyers working for him with no help from Trump in the New York State matter, plus I pretty sure that the state is expecting him to pay for the master who he forced on the case. I am certain that these lawyers are charging more than the 700 dollars an hour I paid ten years ago.

I am sure that all of this legal talent was bleeding hundreds of thousands of dollars a week from him.

What is amazing about this is that it is very much in Trump's best interest for Trump to keep Cohen in the fight on Trump's side. Trump seems to be congenitally unable to show loyalty to those from whom he demands absolute loyalty. A vague promise to pardon him from federal problems is hardly sufficient for Cohen who is facing state charges and certain bankruptcy.

This is so true, and it's why I have such a hard time understanding those that remain loyal to the orange douche. Trump is so stupid, he won't even remain loyal to you when it's in his own self-interest to do so.

Just from what I know of Cohen, despite all his tough wiseguy talk, I pegged him to flip and rather quickly. There's also reports that some of the reason for the split is fee disagreements with his lawyers, which is interesting because Trump, since Cohen is a member of his company, could actually assist him with that, but has not done so.

I don't think the investigation will need to grant immunity. Cohen it seems is dirty through and through. All they need to do is offer to go light on him.

Sure, but if he flips on Trump, there's a chance some random conservative voter will kill him in order to protect the traitor.

He may end up like so many Dindus with a charge sheet as long as your arm. "You can plead guilty and take 10 years, or fight this in court and get hit with 25 years to life. Your choice."

I don't mean this facetiously; he should probably be put on suicide watch when they can. Poor guy, he thought his ship finally came in when Fuck La' Orange' became president. Free money started pouring in and he began his shakedown, now it's all shit.

(Mixed metaphor approaching) That what happens when you hitch your wagon to a falling star.

That's the least of his worries, as far as that goes. One of Cohen's stick fixes was working out the details of mafia shakedowns of construction companies(This is a nice construction site you got here. It's be a shame if no one picked emptied your trash dumpster for six weeks.) There could be some people who are worried about who Cohen would turn on, before he gave up the Trumps.

Yes, but conservatives are incredibly numerous. There are millions of them. I know that the ones who become violent and actually kill people is a really small percentage, but a really small percentage of millions is still pretty scary.

How long before one of them decides that Cohen needs to die in order to protect the president from "the Deep State"? How much protection does Cohen currently have?
