I personally would score in the "borderline retarded" if tasked to label every African country from memory. I could get the big and well known ones, but it does not resemble the map of Africa I learned in 9th grade geography. I never even heard of a few of those nations before. And where did Rhodesia and Zaire go?

I think what would be more depressing than this African example is how many in Congress would not be able to correctly label all 50 US states. I confess that there's a good chance I would mix up a couple of the "flyover" states or those teeny states on the East coast.
