Everything that taxes support is choices that others made.
Depends on how you define "choices".

I don't see anyone choosing to have Covid.
Did any taxpayer funds go towards giving people Covid? I was not aware of that program.

If the government chooses to do something that benefits me (like distribute a vaccine), that is not a choice I made, even if it is one I support.

Everything that taxes support is choices made by government. Even members of the government don't make those choices unilaterally. Unless you live in a dictatorship*.

The exception that proves the rule that "Everything that taxes support is choices that others made" is the tiny fraction of tax paid by the President himself that goes to fund things chosen unilaterally by the President himself.







* It is noted that you didn't live in such a system last week. Whether that's still true is less certain.
