Well... it's Trump... again. #47, here we go.

Is he talking about the "person/woman/man/camera/TV" test he took in '18? He went on and on about that in Trump I, making it sound like he amazed his doctor. It's about the same as asking the patient to untie and tie his shoes.
Goddamn, it has to be tough to cover Trump as a travelling correspondent. It must take absolute self-control to not blurt out, "You're lying again, you fat fucking liar."

Trump bragging about taking "very hard" dementia tests.

"Those are very hard". Ha, Ha. They are equivalent to an IQ test for a five year old. "What is this animal?" "It is an elephant."

Aptitude test? This is 25th Amendment stuff.

When you can't even recall correctly what the exam was, and you insist it is hard, you shouldn't be able to order the launch of nuclear weapons.

“I routinely say that the president lies. He does … What can I do? I mean, that’s who he is, and so I don’t apologize for that at all,” the reporter said.

Dáte’s comments, which were first highlighted by Mediaite, came after White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt published on social media a testy exchange she and Dáte had over text messages.

The better angle to go at this is present it to Leavitt as "Did the President not know?" "Did no one inform the President this wasn't true?" Passive aggressive is a much easier way to attack as you'll force Leavitt to make statements she likely isn't ready to make.

Such as "Why wasn't the President informed that the East Wing would be fully torn down?" She can't say he was, because "Was he told he made the statement that the East Wing wouldn't be touched?" Saying he wasn't is also very problematic. You effectively create a narrative that is hard for Leavitt to deflect on, also you are having her approve said narrative. If she says he was told before, "So the President told the people something he knew wasn't true. Thank you."

Don't lead off that Trump is lying, assume he wasn't in the narrative, let Leavitt say it.

And from the Have We Learned Our Lesson Yet? file, Kamala Harris says she's not done yet, that she may still run for president.
Or maybe she's just selling books.
Where did you read or hear that? I heard her say on one of the late night shows that she has no plans of running for office again. Hopefully she will do something constructive like join someone like Stacy Abrams to help get out the vote and fight voter suppression. We need more people like Stacey.
Fuck. You're right. I just saw an article that said she is thinking of running for. president again. There is no way she'd make it through the primaries. Is she that stupid to think she would be chosen? So, I guess she's either making this up or she's can decide what to do.
Yeah, BBC. And call me cynical but she did just come out with a book so make a little noise and sell a few books.
Yeah. She has been pimpin' that book. I'm skeptical that she is really planning on running again. And, while I'd love to have a female president, I don't think a woman could win in our sexist society, at least not in my lifetime.
I don't think it's so much about being a sexist society as no matter how strong a female candidate might be, the right wing news will smear her character and their faithful followers will accept what they say without a thought.
Sadly, I think we'd be more likely to see a Cruella come from the other side.
That's part of it but I've personally known of people, especially men who have said they will never vote for a female for president. I'm sure there are many factors, including the fact that a lot of Democrats didn't even bother to vote. WTF! There is no candidate who will please everyone, but the fact that a very experienced person who wanted to follow the law, and support the constitution was defeated by an insane criminal who lacks an empathy is quite depressing. Now all those who didn't bother to vote along with most of MAGA are paying or will be paying for their mistake. Of course, the ultra wealthy will never pay and will continue to bow to their leader. This has been going on long before Trump but he took it to a new level that I don't think anyone expected.
