Honestly, what sort of Americans are not at this point done with Trump? What else could he do, to more thoroughly disgrace the office he holds? The poop plane video...Quiet, Piggy...stating that telling the military to obey the law is sedition. I just, don't, get, it. But of course these are the same people that don't care about the scandals of the past, the true sedition of allowing the Jan. 6 rioters to rampage, the theft of government documents, the conviction as a sex offender and business fraudster. They deserve a horrible President. The rest of us don't.

It's beyond rationality that anyone could support this stooge, clown, racist pig, con-artist, mobster, fascist, lying sack of shit. But the deporables do. Because they are the deporables.

The two who I've discussed Trump with are both over 70 and I tend to think that one might be in the early stages of dementia. She's the one who told me that Trump is the greatest president we've ever had. She is a very sweet lady in her early 80s. These people aren't deplorable. They are brainwashed who receive lots of disinformation from their so called news sources. The other one is a life long Republican who thinks Trump has done lots of great things for the country. She's a retired RN, who I worked with briefly and used to think of as a friend, or at least a friendly acquaintance. She can barely get by on SS. She has some health problems and she's 75 years old. She was a very caring nurse, so it is hard to understand how decent people have been sucked up into this cult. But, it's not helpful to refer to them as bad people. Idiots, maybe, but I assume they don't believe the truth about Trump. They've been told they are lies. There is one other one who I have not discussed Trump with since the election, but she gets all of her "news" from Newsmax and considers the NYTimes to be fake news. Gee. Where did she hear that? She is also in her 70s and has chronic lymphoma. I met her at my aerobics group. All fhree of these women are conservative Christians, and likely life long Republicans who have been indoctrinated in more ways than one. It's not easy for people who've been brainwashed to change.

All of my actual friends can't stand Trump, never voted for Trump, including my nutty neighbor who I've mentioned in other threads. Most or maybe all of the Democrats who we met last week were also Christians, but my guess is they are more moderate or liberal ones.

The man who lives across the street from me voted for trump but he said he hated both candidates. He told me recently that Trump is an idiot, but why did he vote for him? He could have written in someone's name instead. Considering Georgia is a swing state, I think my neighbor is an idiot. There are still three Trump signs up in my neighborhood. Two are surrounded by crosses and other religious bullshit. One has a MAGA sign out front, but a recent storm apparently took away their stupid MAGA flag.

These people aren't deplorable, but they aren't rational either. That's the real problem!

The Trump Mobile phone is nowhere to be found after months of delay

Trump Mobile has posted conflicting photos of the phone and scrubbed mention of its “Made in the USA” promise.

The phone doesn't exist yet. They ripped off an image of the Samsung 25 Ultra. The picture looks like my phone. A different phone picture than the original what's shown in the link. It's in the news story.

Delay after delay and no real info.

Instead of Made in the US they are now saying the phone, if it ever will exist will be "brought to life right here in the USA.”. What does that mean? It's first turned on in the USA?

The story says that they are offering other non-Made in the USA phones but does not say whether the service is actually running.

Trump's Department of InJustice is sending the FBI after the 6 members of congress who put out a video saying military must no follow an illegal order.

Trump really needs to be impeached and prosecuted for this. For one it's true that the military is duty bound not to obey an illegal order and second, members of congress have protected speech in the US Constitution.

All US citizens and residents have protected speech in the US Constitution.

Saying something true is not unlawful for anyone under US jurisdiction, and the central purpose of the first amendment is to prohibit the President (or any other branch of government) from taking action against anyone on the basis of what they say, with a tiny number of exceptions, such as fraud or defamation, both of which require proof of deliberate or reckless lying.

This action by the President is blatantly unconstitutional, and a deliberate contravention of his oath of office.

And his motivation is simply to distract from the evidence that he is a paedophile.

It seems like only a few years ago, the office of President of the United States was held in high regard, and was considered amongst the more respectable positions amongst world leaders. This clown makes Richard Nixon look honest, upstanding, selfless, and professional in the execution of his duties; That's quite an achievement.

I'd like to be able to say that they'll learn their lesson now. But they won't.
