What could trump do to make his supporters recoil from him

 
 
 
If he backed down on his stances on immigration and trade. As Ann Coulter said, and I'm paraphrasing "I don't care if he personally performs abortions in the Oval Office, as long as he builds the wall."

Anything that really bothered the Trumpettes would be something that they could point to Hillary as being "even worse". So, I can't think of anything that would make them leave him and thus increase Hillary's chances. As dumb as they are, they are still smarter than those leftists not voting for Hillary because they don't grasp the extreme difference in lifelong consequences of the upcoming decisions (including 2-4 SCOTUS seats) being determined by a GOP or DEM party member, no matter who they are.

That does seem to be the case. I saw an interview Bill Maher did with Ann Coulter last weekend and her entire spiel was that none of Trump's scandals matter because there are bigger issues at stake than the character of the man promoting those issues. Even if people are disgusted by Trump personally, they see him as the only person willing to actually deal with these issues and take on the corrupt leadership of the country that's let them down. It's all the other stuff that matters, not the personal failings of the man advocating and fighting for that stuff.

But then again, Coulter is, like, a four at best, so I don't know how worthwhile her opinion on anything might be.

Seriously, just watch. After he loses -- which he will -- everyone who could plausibly get away with it (and many of those who can't) will say they never really supported him anyway.

After a suitable period of mourning (denial) in which they ritually burn, damage and disrupt. You may be right that being a loser is the only thing.
 
This is what would hurt him most with his base: He is secretly a liberal and an atheist. He has paid for multiple abortions. He doesn't have nearly as much money as he claims to have.

THOSE are your talking points to take him down. Showing him to be sleazeball or a cheat or a hater won't do it.

And I thought it would be an interesting discussion.

For example, do you think they'd recoil if a tape came out of him secretly saying he planned to repeal the 2nd Amendment?

I thought about that and really wondered.... may not. Maybe they'd excuse that away. saying, "Congress will prevent him, so that's okay..."

denounce Christianity, and declare that he'd convert to Islam except that it doesn't much like practicing bisexuals like himself.
 
If there was a cuckold video of Trump's wife and a black man. That might work.

Or maybe they would like that too.
