Overnight, it looks like Rupert finally got fed up with Cheato.
Why? What will be the effect on the trumpsucking sheeple hordes, if any?
This might be bigger than the 1/6 Committee...

Whatever is driving this, it is heartwarming to see the Murdoch megalopoly set to it, eating their own.
Not just nibbling either, but sitting down for a four course meal with full place settings and steak knives.
From these articles they look quite hungry, ready to dig in with real enthusiasm.
Will Faux Nooz follow form? If they do, whatever will become of NoozMacks, and OAN?

Ooooh... Washington Examiner gets into the act:

"... former President Donald Trump is a “disgrace” who is “unfit to be anywhere near power ever again,” according to right-wing news website the Washington Examiner.

Score another half point for the Deep State! :hysterical:

It's not Donnie so much as DeSantis.

There is a fix in for inheriting the crown.
I don't think Rupert is ready to throw in behind a crippled Trump wannabe. He is probably looking for a younger, more heroic looking idiot bastard to do his bidding. You know, someone like Matty Gaetz, but maybe someone not yet so tarnished by sex scandals.

At this point, the sex scandals are a badge of honor among this ilk, a stamp of solipsistic approval.

I suppose Abbot would work too.

Just wait to see whoever it is they actually zero in on.

Ugh... They could even go for the AntiHillary: MTG.

Also, ugh... Shame on me for missing "Crown clown"

Yeah, the party that worships a serial adulterer, who publically pervs on his own daughter is not going to be put off by a sex scandal. They're well over that waterfall and into the pool.

Rupert is probably saying out loud what many in the Republican party are probably thinking. That Donald probably has too much baggage at this point to win against a good Democrat.

Which indeed may be correct or not mostly depending on what candidate the Democrats come up with. In particular if they only run another old wet blanket like Biden who is only "not Trump" ....even that may not be enough to beat Donald.

Ya think? Yeah, just a little bit too much... full on civil war is not as good for business as letting it happen somewhere else. Like, say, Ukraine.

Donald won't be running. His only motive for doing so is that he hopes it will keep him immune from prosecution, and everybody knows it. The newspaper articles in the OP are harbingers of things to come.
The sad truth for Donald is that the DOJ memo that saved him last time only applies to "sitting Presidents", not desperate traitors saying they are candidates for president.
I think MTG has a better chance of getting the Q nomination.

Call me when Mad Murdoch fires Fuckhead Carlson., Sean Insanity, and the other lying Trumpsuckers.

He won’t fire them. He will simply let them know who he has selected as next week’s Jesus.

Murdoch is a political animal. When promoting Trump generated adverting he went with him. Now it looks like at least Trump will be tarnished and he is distancing himself.

My guess is Murdoch is getting feedback from advertisers.

Nothing. That's why Rupert is throwing him under the bus. There's an old saying about hoists and petards that illustrate this development quite nicely.

It needs to be remembered, the Trump movement started before the right-wing media embraced him. He seized on a legit alt right-wing populist movement. Do not read too much into the significant of this.

Remember that when Fox News didn't go completely Jonestown Cult during the Trump Admin, the Trump base sought out other sources and moved to OANN and Newsmax because FNC was just as bad as the MSM. If these sources jump ship, others will be willing to fill the void.

This could lead us to a modified 2012 primary scenario where the right-wing media is pushing DeSantis (Romney - 2012) and the base wants Trump (literally anyone else - 2012). Of course, Trump is already the leading pack alternative to the DeSantis mainstream pick, so instead of a bunch of people, it'd be Trump v DeSantis. Mussolini - A Competent Mussolini.

I agree. Trumpism is still dominant in the QOP Party. The leaders of this greedy and lying hate-stoking ilk — who will probably control Congress in 2023 — still want to elect an ultra-rightwing bombastic Prez they can manipulate.

They're just looking for one with a 3-digit IQ. And who isn't so blatantly psychopathic, imbecilic and criminal.

Their problem is the metastatic nature of trumpism. For instance, Gaetz or Hawley could have fit the bill, but they are infected. So are DeSantis and Abbott to a lesser degree.
In a way, they're in the same boat as the Democrats - they've got their guy, but there are fatal flaws to letting him run again.

As a matter of principle, as a matter of character, Trump has proven himself unworthy to be this country’s chief executive again.

He refused. He didn’t call the military to send help. He didn’t call [Mike] Pence to check on the safety of his loyal [vice-president]. Instead he fed the mob’s anger and let the riot play out.
Ain't it something... that we are 18 months post January 6th, 2021... and now the NY Post and Wall Street Journal are seeing the light?

WSJ (my emphasis) said:
The 2024 field is rich. You have Florida governor Ron DeSantis, former secretary of state Mike Pompeo, former UN ambassador Nikki Haley … the list goes on. All candidates who embrace conservative policies … Unsubscribe from Trump’s daily emails begging for money. Then pick your favorite from a new crop of conservatives. Look to 2022, and 2024, and a new era. Let’s make America sane again.
Yes, DeSantis politicized a pandemic for political gain, led to excess deaths in Florida. And they lead off with that asshole. Mike Pompeo has so little experience. This leaves only Nikki Haley as someone who is conservative and isn't quite as tainted by Trump, though she pivoted to Trump eventually.

Make America Sane again? You folk put the naked Emperor in the fucking White House! He was bragging about sexually assaulting women as a guy in his late 60s. There was never a single thing about this guy that made him look Presidential, but you helped get him there, and support him.

Yes. Many ordinary Americans knew little about Trump in 2016, beyond that he was a TV clown like Danny DeVito, the Three Stooges or Daffy Duck. But the owners, operators and editors of the WSJ and NY Post KNEW the man. They'd been to parties where he cracked jokes about barely pubescent girls. They knew that New York banks and contractors were refusing to work with the grifter. And they knew, or should have known, that he was hopelessly unqualified to be President.

Yet they went along; they got him elected. Now, perhaps just days before Trump is indicted for serious felonies, they finally jump off the bandwagon?

What slimy disgusting hypocrites.

Regarding Fox, they may be shifting away from Clownstick, even if doing it more quietly. Not sure about this purported shift (below linked article) in Clownstick rally coverage, but to not cover his Arizona dueling show/rally against his former VP, with a major dust up between MAGA fruitcakes, and dried and dusty Greedy Old Perverts; and then to put on Clownstick's biggest competitor for 2024, is quite interesting.

Both newspapers have been noticeably more critical of Trump than Murdoch’s biggest megaphone of all, the Fox News Channel, though close viewers have also picked up on some signs that Fox might be souring on Trump.

The right-wing network does not show his rallies any longer, for example. Potential 2024 presidential candidate Ron DeSantis, the Florida governor, was a featured guest on Fox while Trump held a rally on Friday night.

I don't see how you can have this both ways Jimmy. Either the left and right media put Trump in the White House or they didn't.

The real truth is that his platform put him office. A platform that was insanely popular with working class people.

You are absolutely correct. The left and right media didn't put Trump in the White House.

Take all the time you need to realise the gaping fucking flaw in your argument.
