What music are you listening to right now? (Warning: Lotsa videos)

has a Kate Bush feel to it.

This makes me ask did Kate Bush ever sing a fully "straight ahead" song that didn't have a manic section to it?

I wonder what her vocal gift would have sounded like if she had done a normal song and stripped away all of her affectations on purpose.

Grew up listening to this band as a kid and saw them in concert a few times. . . The hottest band in the land. . . KISS

1968 gets cooler everyday. Noticing it has all been done in electronic music long ago, and modern experimenters like Richard James have just tweaked it. Play both at the same time and sync it as you like. far out

They make me laugh every time. Still slightly ahead of their time, huh. I like how they used propaganda. This was 100% beautifulness. One phone call to a television station made them much more famous.

You're preaching to the choir. I don't care if his melodies were original. Still, it's interesting, no?

Some composers are more melodic than others, that's all. Stravinsky was brilliant with rhythm and orchestration, among other things, isn't that enough?

Sure, it's more than enough. Everyone borrows. Even birds do it.
