Simple Minds, 30 Frames a Second. No video as such but this youtube effort gives the lyrics. This is Simple Minds during their best period in my opinion. At the time, Simple Minds were on a trajectory similar to U2, but Simple Minds were far superior to U2 at this time.
Typical of Simple Minds of that time, the song is quite long but you get the gist of it after a couple of minutes.

I first heard this in the 1987 movie "Five Corners", Tim Robbins, Jodie Foster, John Turturro, the director went on to direct "Moonstruck". Very entertaining if improbable story set in duh Bronks.
