Where's the lack of gun crime in Canada?

Don't be mislead by the headline--they weren't "children". Two appear to have been the target of drug hits, the third was romantically involved with such a target.

I keep hearing how Canada doesn't have the gun problem we do--yet it certainly looks like they do.

Just because they have gun related deaths too doesn't mean they have anywhere near the gun problem the US does.

Just because they have gun related deaths too doesn't mean they have anywhere near the gun problem the US does.

That, plus: I'm willing to bet that most of the guns that end up killing people in Canada have been legally obtained - in the US (the same has been claimed for Mexico). So lax US gun laws lead not only to a much higher rate of gun related deaths in the US, but are even partly to blame for Canadian gun related deaths.

And 2/3s of the gun deaths in the US are suicides. (I think everyone has the right to commit suicide - with a few caveats). Not to mention things are getting better not worse.
