We do have cultural problems about sex, no dating, age at marriage (as per law, 21 now, which is laughable), second marriage deprecated in society, lack of education, corruption in police, economic differences, etc. Many things combined. I know that India is a tough spot as neighbors with Russia; But Indian trade with Russia is helping their economy and killing Ukranians. The west should have no trade with Russia until the war is over. Period.

With supplies from the Gulf curtailed/stopped for long periods, where do we get our gas/petrol? We have 1,475 million people to take care of. Then, I have always blamed the machinations of US and NATO for the war in Ukraine as well as expansion of conflict in Iran. Why should we not get oil from Russia, and if not from where at greater cost. Has US or Europe stopped all trade with Russia? Preaching does not help..

Again, I understand your position. It’s unrealistic to expect India to stop buying Russian oil. Your country has a balancing act to play having three very aggressive imperialist countries near it. But every dollar going into Russia prolongs this war. I think that any country that can should withdraw from Russia until their imperialism stops.
