• Welcome to the new Internet Infidels Discussion Board, formerly Talk Freethought.

You yanks have a poor choice come November.

Who is this "we"? Fucking Canuck, can't even figure out which side of the border you live on.

We're actually all on Al Gore's side. We've been waiting patiently for the American people to rise up and cast out the corrupt elitists who are denying him his rightful position of authority, but all of you just seem to keep ignoring him and not starting any sort of revolution at all on his behalf. It's really weird of you and one would almost think that you're not inspired by his astounding charisma.

But business as usual IS total batshit crazy.... It has gotten to a point where there is a valid argument to be made for burning it all down and starting over.

There are primaries for both the Democratic & Republican parties, so they were voted on by the people that bothered to show up for said primaries. Trump got the most votes in the Republican primary; Clinton got the most votes in the Democratic primary.

These were not fair democratic primaries. This was rigged from the start. The only way the people will actually decide anything is through a revolution and putting an actual democracy in change. We need regime change in the US.

We, the citizens of the planet Earth. Yes, that's right. You Americans always talk about regime change in other countries. Your turn is nigh.

Of course they were fair. You're talking nonsense. Bernie Sanders signed up to join the Democratic party for the Primary season and it ran exactly according to plan he signed up for.

If he wanted to run a different way with a different party, he would have made that choice.

He. Signed. Up. For. Exactly. This.

He knew the rules of every single state when he started.
So did all of his supporters in those states.

Saying it was rigged because it unfolded exactly as it was proscribed is... well, it's kind of idiocy, isn't it?
Is he an idiot who didn't read the rules of the game he was signing up for? The man is 75 years old. He has been in politics for 36 years. Are you saying you think he JUST NOTICED how Democratic primaries are run? I think he's far smarter than that. You seem to think he's dumb.

That is an entirely different issue.

The choice is between business as usual and total batshit crazy.

How were the democratic primaries "rigged from the start"? Certainly I would say that long established organizations tend to have favorites from the beginning, but to claim that there is this vast conspiracy needs some proof in my mind.
