Lies about Joe Biden

Nobody thinks Joe Biden is as smart as his old boss, Barack Obama (though his IQ is probably higher than the present ilk of top GOPsters like Marco Rubio or high-school dropout Lauren Boebert). And, just like with me and others in their 70's his mental agility may be declining. But Joe Biden is fundamentally a decent person, a generous man who serves his country, not his personal greed.

Even Senator Lindsay Graham — so high in the Trumpist hierarchy that he's permitted to lick His Flatulence's taint with his open mouth — once said "The bottom line is if you can't admire Joe Biden as a person than it's probably -- you've got a problem. You need to do some self-evaluation."

Yet lies about Joe Biden are abounding without the slightest hint of truth. Some inane QAnon-inspired meme about "Brandon" has taken over, and even some low-IQ Congresscritters are pushing it.

There's a YouTube of His Flatulence leering at a 14-year old he passes on an escalator, and telling her he'll be dating her in a few years. Matt Gaetz is about to be indicted for actual sex trafficking, but he is a rising QOP star! Yet for the Bullshit Machine it is Joe Biden who is a child sex trafficker! Here's a Trumpist preacher with the message "Sleepy Joe is a sex-trafficking demon-possessed mongrel." (This preacher seems more intelligent and articulate than most QOP politicos. Will he become a Senator? Or promoted directly to the Supreme Court when QOP regains control in 2025?)

What motivated me to start this thread is the claim (by Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, Sean Hannity or MTG — who bothers to distinguish among these despicable comedians?) that Joe Biden said "End of Message" at a memorial for Bob Dole when reading a message off his teleprompter. But if you click for details at a REAL news site you learn that the "End of Message" was part of the Dole utterance being quoted! Indeed the emphatic "End of Message" gave special meaning to Dole's message. This was obvious to Biden, and obvious to anyone who watched Biden's actual speech instead of the doctored FoxNews soundbite. But liars got to lie.

The contrast between Trump and Biden is stark. Trump is an infantile brat who never matured, and whose own staff has so little respect for him that they let him board Air Force One with a roll of toilet paper stuck to his shoe! Trump's ONLY decent speeches come from teleprompters. (And at the end of the speech his staff prepared, he often ad-libs a contradiction to the speech!)

I'll repost what Trump sounds like when he's ad-libbing. (Yes, this is the 4th time I've posted this but I can't get over it! I think it should go down in history with the Gettysburg Address and JFK's promise to land a man on the moon.)
Look, having nuclear my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, okay, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart you know, if you're a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, okay, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world it's true! but when you're a conservative Republican they try oh, do they do a number that's why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fort. you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we're a little disadvantaged but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me it would have been so easy, and it's not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right who would have thought?), but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners now it used to be three, now it's four but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven't figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it's gonna take them about another 150 years but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us.

Sorry: No particular conclusion in this post. I just think the insulting lies directed against President Biden epitomize the depths into which the GOP has plunged.

They PROBABLY think it's fully justified by, and an equal reaction to, all the time spent in the previous four years listing Trump's faults, failings, flailings, felonies, fabrications, and use of a sharpie to fully flesh out hurricane paths. But Trump actually DID get caught with the sharpie on his desk, and so on....

Joe Biden is just the latest object of the Rove Doctrine. Karl Rove is the guy who created the strategy of attacking the opponent's strong points. This showed it's effectiveness when there were stories that George W Bush used political connections to enlist in the National Guard to evade service in Viet Nam. No big deal until he has to face John Kerry, decorated war hero who chased the Viet Cong into the tall grass. The solution was obvious. Start telling stories that Kerry was a coward whose medals were the result of family influence.

The reason Biden's mental acuity is an issue is solely to distract from Trump's lack of it.

Lying works. More and more Republican voters think there is something wrong with the 2020 election than they did six months ago. The lying simply works.
Yes lying works. It is the main driver of propoganda and has been known about for many generations.. It worked during WW2 Germany and its functioning very well now with the monopolized main stream media of the US.

As someone who actually agreed with most if not all of Trump's platform....I got to admit that was really out on left field somewhere. I can't even figure out what he was trying to say....

That places you solidly within the Trump camp. None of the rest of his sycophants can figure it out either, but they're all dead certain that it's something profound and true. And if you doubt it, ask him - he'll tell you so.
For his entire life, Donald Trump has done nothing but lie, cheat and steal. I have to agree; lying cheating and stealing while keeping people convinced that you're Jesus --- nothing short of a miracle.

I thought that this comment was very interesting. Is it your view that all US media including CNN, MSNBC, Fox, Newsmax and etc are all lying and have been monopolized? Or is it your view that only the media left of fox news is lying and is monopolized? If the latter is true, where is the monopoly? BTW: in WW2 Germany, the Nazis took over all media. So, your comments above seem odd, unless I'm misunderstanding your point.

I feel like they are shouting “fire!” In a crowded Democracy. They have calculated that they can cause chaos and death and destruction and they think they’ll get people out, be able to set a fire in the chaos without being seen as the arsonist, and end up owning an empty building lot in a prime piece of town. They don’t care about the deaths.

It is horrible.

And people like RVonse love it and cheer them on. Perhaps he thinks they will give him a corner condo. They will not.

The strong opposition to Trump, for many of us, had little to do with his specific policies. His agenda wasn't too different from that of other GOPsters. I really thought TPP was a good idea, but even Hillary had been moved by popular sentiment to oppose that.

What made Trump so very abhorrent were non-policy issues. He leered at 14-year-old girls and bragged about grabbing pussy. His businesses like Trump University and the Trump Foundation were steeped in criminality. He stuffed his Cabinet with incompetents (Carson, Perry) and criminals (Ross, DeVos). And, whatever one's views on the "collusion," the deference he showed to Putin — divulging intelligence which cost the lives of top assets and meeting Putin without even a U.S. translator present —was unforgivable.

And, regardless of whether you think his signature "idea" — The Wall — was a brilliant idea or a horrid one, Trump himself initially thought it a stupid idea! It was casually inserted into a campaign speech as a test and only after Trump heard the crowd's reaction, did The Wall become so dear to Trump's heart.

Trump had policies? He had slogans, sure. And he mumbled nonsensical crap whenever a camera was in front him and certainly loved making fascistic decisions/executive orders but I can't think of any legislation he advocated or changes to government he implemented. Seriously, what policies did Trump actually accomplish?

I remember a very strong campaign promise Trump made.

"I will repeal the ACA! I'll replace it with Something Great."

He had a solid Republican majority on Capitol Hill to work with. So, what we've got now is TrumpCare. Amirite!?

Except it's Faux/OAN/NoiseMax that are the real liars.

Looking at what he actually accomplished: There was a rate jump when he made so much noise, but other than that I have the same insurance I had when he made that campaign promise. All he actually did is raise the price.

Snopes disagrees.

The words "end of message" were not part of Dole's column. It was most likely written down on Biden's notes to denote the end of the quote, and Biden did indeed misread it as being part of the quote. But at least he had wits to improvise it and add "And the message said" before it. So he wasn't just reading words out loud without thinking, nor was it at the end of the speech like some pundits claimed.

I agree about the mindboggling double standards that seem to exist between Biden and Trump when it comes to criticizing their respective mental faculties.

A fair comparison would evoke strong feelings of pity for the mango.

Now for the truth: Joe Biden bought ice cream. It's a scandal proving that he is unfit for being the President Of The United States. Yes. Really.

Geoblocked in some countries.

Apparently, it wasn't toilet paper stuck to the bottom of his shoe, either:

Is That Toilet Paper Stuck to President Trump’s Shoe?

I think Swammi needs to expand his news sources beyond just Colbert.
