Kinda like the Bible. The law is written too vaguely to make any sense out of it.
Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.
Why, they could say "homosexuality is never developmentally appropriate because (insurt purity principle hand waving, and beliefs in Gawd)"Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.
Who in the world thought this language made any sense. If the law is only about kindergarten then the language "gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3" is sufficient to establish prohibition for kindergarten students. It's the underlined parts that are not only vague but don't have a cap on the grade level. Does this mean in Florida public universities a parent &/or student has the standing to claim that a discussion of sexual orientation or gender identity isn't developmentally appropriate?
And the lack of pay, and the insanity-inducing workloads, and the expectation that they must pay for their own materials and training, and the lack of piss breaks...Man, we are going to have no teachers in twenty years. This us v them relationship being created by the GOP is going to make this profession evaporate.

The private schooling market is even worse, from a labor perspective. And the lack of pay, and the insanity-inducing workloads, and the expectation that they must pay for their own materials and training, and the lack of piss breaks...Man, we are going to have no teachers in twenty years. Oh, there'll be teachers.
Public schools will be scraping the bottom of the barrel. Private schools, the kind that don't have to educate anyone in particular, won't.

Sorry folks, if that was part of the intent of the law, then that law is even fucking dumber than I thought.
I wonder if any of the defenders of that bill are ashamed of their defense.
Aw. Another innocent victim of the corrupt Democrats’ unamerican policy of![]()
